Facilities: Set far back from the road, First Circle is located on 3+ acres of land in a quiet, residential area, and surrounded by conservation land. Program spaces are equipped for the unique developmental needs of each age group, and are designed to stimulate learning and encourage interest, exploration, and success. Our spacious and natural outdoor playgrounds with structures, swings and play spaces are enclosed by fencing. We also have classroom-direct telephone and voicemail, and a Bio-metric ID Pad entry system for the utmost safety.
Program/Philosophy: First Circle’s innovative curriculum is adapted to the individual pace and learning style of each child. Low child-to-teacher ratios provide the best attention, care and support for your child. The educational program builds upon learned skills and introduces new ideas, concepts and activities through a variety of themes that are creatively interwoven into every day’s planned activities. They will stretch their cognitive skills in language and literacy, math, science and technology, as well as learn about the world around them and how they fit in. In addition, they will develop and expand their creative expression and individuality, develop coordination and a strong body, learn how to be a good friend and have respect for others, learn and practice self-help skills, all the while developing a strong sense of self.
Our unique character education program, called My Character is another important part of our curriculum. MyCharacter includes learning objectives teachers use to help children successfully develop and practice critical social skills, problem-solve, think creatively, make good choices, resolve conflict, persist through challenges, and build self-esteem.
