Lowell St. Sandy beach with shaded areas and chlorinated wading area, concession stand, playground and full bathroom facilities. Season passes and daily fees for non-residents.

Springs Brook Park

181 Springs Rd. This is a man-made filtered swimming facility with a sandy beach, picnic areas, concession stand, spray park, water slide, playground and full bathroom facilities. Open to Bedford residents and members, guests passes are available.

Belmont

Beaver Brook Spray Deck

621 Trapelo Rd. Ideal for toddlers through age 5 years. There are swings, slides and climbing structures as well. FREE.

Boston

Frog Pond Spray Pool

Located on the Boston Common, off the Park St. stop on the Red or Green line. Splash around in the giant wading pool and stay cool in the fun fountains. FREE

Cambridge

Veterans Memorial Swimming and Wading Pool (Magazine Beach)

719 Memorial Dr. (on Charles River) Changing rooms/showers and lifeguards on duty. Playground nearby. FREE

McCrehan Memorial Swimming and Wading Pool

359 Rindge Ave. The pool is open from mid-June to early September. Parking is available year round, rates vary by season. FREE

Drake Playground

3 Hazel St., across from Plympton Elementary School Neighborhood park which includes children’s play structure, basketball court, youth athletic field for baseball/softball, and water spray facility. Parking areas available. FREE

Graverson Playground (Renovated in 2019) Pine Vale Rd; corner of Trapelo Rd. (just over the Lexington line). Neighborhood playground with a play structure, basketball court, tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, bocce ball court, covered picnic tables, and a splash pad. FREE

Fitch Spray Park

14 Ash St. Summer availability end of June through the end of August. FREE

Lazazzero Playground

7 Shore Rd., corner of Lake St., beside Hardy Pond Neighborhood park abutting Hardy Pond with lighted basketball court, spray park, and little league baseball fields. Parking areas available. FREE

Msgr. McCabe/Warrendale Playground

90 Charlotte Rd., behind Fitzgerald Elementary School Neighborhood park with (two) little league baseball fields, basketball court, (two) lighted tennis courts, large play structures, water spray park, and parking. FREE

Arsenal Park

485 Arsenal St., behind Arsenal Mall and Harvard Vanguard Building Playground area, cookout grills, picnic tables, and on-site restrooms (available weekends). FREE

Dealtry Memorial Swimming and Wading Pool

138 Pleasant St. Dealtry Pool is an outdoor facility in the west end of Watertown. The pool is equipped with an adult lap section as well as a spray deck for younger swimmers.

Pvt. Domenick Filippello Park

109 Arlington St., access from Arlington St. or Grove St. This park, with its playing fields and many amenities, is situated on 14 acres between Arlington and Grove Streets. There is a convenient parking lot from the Grove Street entrance. On-street parking is available on Arlington Street. Picnic tables, grills, and restroom facilities. FREE
