Who Runs the World: Girls The Founder of Lewk Magazine leaving their Mark Amaya Aztecatl, Gabriella Garcia and Sydney Bynes are the founders of Lewk magazine. These 3 inspirational women started the magazine all on their own. This magazine has been in the works for almost a year before we present to you our first issue. But who are these amazing ladies that started it all? Amaya Aztecatl is a junior at Texas State, who is majoring in fashion merchandising. When Amaya first came to Texas State she was a communications disorders major before changing it to fashion merchandising. Amaya has always had a love for fashion and always knew fashion would be a part of her life and would always follow her no matter where she went. This magazine is important to Amaya because as someone who found their calling and passion in college she knew that Lewk magazine was an opportunity to give back to our community, and to grow the fashion world in Texas State and to make a change in not only our own life but the Texas State community. 6
