To create a new user account, follow the given steps: 1. Go to Start button and then click on Control Panel button. 2. Now, select Add or remove user accounts under User Accounts and Family Safety section. 3. If prompted, type the Admin password to proceed and click Continue. 4. Move to Create a new account, enter the name for it and select account type. 5. Select Create Account button and your account is created now
Once this is done, follow the given guidelines to copy the data from old account.
1. Logon as a new user or the user from which you want to copy the files. 2. Go to Start and click Documents. 3. Hit Alt key on the keyboard to open the menu bar. 4. Select Tools tab and click Folder Options from the drop-down list. 5. Click on View tab to move further. Now, click Show hidden files and folders, and remove the check mark beside “Hide protected operating system files� option. 6. Select Yes button in the Warning window that appears on the screen. 7. Navigate to OK button and then go to C:\Users\Old_Username folder, here folder is the name of file which you wish to copy.
8. Choose all files except Ntuser.dat, Ntuser.dat.log and Ntuser.ini. 9. Hit Alt key to open menu bar, go to Edit and then click Copy button. 10. .Again, go to C:\Users\New_Username folder, where new username signifies as the name of the new user profile which you created before few minutes, 11. Again, press Alt key and then click Edit menu to click Paste button. 12. Once, this is completed log on as the new user and confirm for the files which you copied. 13. If the files copied successfully, delete the old profile and if not, then repeat the whole process to copy the files.
