Le négatif mag is not about technique or equipment on film photography, you can find plenty of that elsewhere, instead we focus only on Artistic expression through analog photography. You can get inspiration, discover new Artists, follow your favorite photographers, and also submit your own photos. We feature each month the best contemporary photography that is still made on Film. Le négatif magazine is read by approximately 5000 readers each month, in over 120 countries. Our only purpose is to celebrate Art, life and film photography. All People Are Brothers And Sisters No. Of course we are all very different. We are not similar to each other like the universe is not similar to another. Do you know a lot of universes? A little? Only one? So do I. My own. Billions of universes are swarming on the surface of the earth not occurring again neither in time nor on space. Slightly overlapping, rubbing against each other, sometimes destroying a neighbor for fun, sometimes enriching one for mercy. And if any universe knew the other completely, in its entirety. this is the bliss. At any time a discovery is awaiting. If you dont stay idle, waiting in your personal universe. If you take the gift of life with humility and gratitude.
Yes. We are all very similar to each other. Two eyes, two ears, feet, hands ... Billions wear the same clothes. watch the same movies. They drink the same drinks. To build a standard career. Same swearing. Equally declare their love. They have children and divorce in conventional terms. Boring biorobots are living dreary program lives.
All people are brothers and sisters. Infinitely similar to each other like brother to brother or sister to sister, and utterly different as different universes.

100 Strangers A conversation begins on the street, an initial interest, and a connection is made. He’s out with his friend, who is sitting on a bench, tattoo on her shoulder and coffee in hand. We talk of cameras old and new, of studio demands and the ever changing world. I ask to take her picture, “Why?” she asks. Why? The soul of a city is it’s inhabitants and each is unique in their own right. They have a story to tell, a look to present to the world. Capturing them, I see the city; the world anew. She says yes, bares a shoulder and poses naturally for me and so it begins.. stranger number one, the goal is one hundred but really the goal is seeing those who are around me. Standing at the bus-stop, or watching the sunset over the sea. Smoking a cigarette on their break, or coming out of a salon with hair freshly done. I will remember them for the words exchanged, for the impressions made in those brief moments and with these images captured..
