Climbing & balancing equipment
A tightrope walker has to be totally focused to avoid falling off. Crocodiles snap at the daredevil as he scales and balances in the high climbing nets.
When children climb, it strengthens and builds the major muscle groups, their motor skills and, not least, their sense of balance. In addition, when moving from one
position to another, children have to perform many different cross movements, and this helps to train the interaction between both sides of the brain. This mutual in-
teraction between the left and right sides of the brain is very important for a child’s learning skills, for example learning to read and solve mathematical exercises.
Step by step, one conquest at a time. When children play on climbing and bal-
ancing equipment, it strengthens their sense of balance, but also their ability to
concentrate as well as their self-confidence. The feeling of being able to balance
and of being in control of your body gives you the courage and desire to embrace new challenges.
