Whisky a Go-Go was owned by Henk who was a real extrovert and a natural showman. One of the things that was very obvious about the place was Henk’s propensity to hire barmaids with large breasts. He loved posing with them and encouraged them to pose with customers.

Whisky a Go-Go werd gerund door Henk, een heel extraverte showman. Een van de dingen die ons al snel opvielen was dat Henk vooral barmeiden met grote borsten aannam. Hij poseerde graag met hen en moedigde hen aan om met de klanten te poseren.

Patty was another eager subject. She mostly wanted pictures with women friends like Henriëtte (opposite page) and Lily (below), who also worked behind the bar.

Patty werd ook graag gefotografeerd. Zij wilde vooral foto’s met vriendinnen, zoals Henriëtte (zie rechterpagina) en Lily (onderstaand), een collega die ook achter de bar stond.
