Athletic Training and Exercise Science Majors Added Starting in September 2015, students can pursue a 3+2 athletic training major, which will lead to a master’s degree, or a traditional four-year exercise science major, earning a bachelor’s degree. Luke Berguson ’15, D’17 is co-captain of the men’s basketball team and in his fourth year as a student athletic trainer—one of more than 20 current student athletic trainers. “I think it’s great that students in these new programs will have the opportunity to work with LVC’s certified athletic trainers—Erin Ulrich, Caitlin Foltz, and Megan Inama—who are among the best in the Middle Atlantic Conference,” Berguson said. “LVC will provide these students with real-life experiences and learning opportunities that they will directly benefit from.” To learn more about these programs, visit www.lvc.edu/athletictraining and www.lvc.edu/exercise-science.
