The UK’s widest-spread music festival This year’s International Festival programme comes at a pivotal point for LDSM. In 2011 we move from our Ambleside campus, which has been home to our International Summer Music Academy for a quarter of a century, to fantastic facilities at Windermere St Anne’s School – truly an inspiring, new base for our next 25 years. Sadly missing from our 2010 programme, will be Ambleside Parish Church, which is undergoing extensive refurbishment. However, expect new comfortable seats, staging possibilities and facilities next year. The variety and history of our Festival venues has always been a key attraction of LDSM. Below you will find information on access, but do go to our new website (www.ldsm.org.uk) to find out more, including venue links, directions, advice on parking, and more! There is much to look forward to in 2010 and 2011. Do come and join us – the UK’s “friendly festival” DAILY TELEGRAPH. Andrew Lucas, Senior Executive Officer
