Writing Your Story

In this creative writing workshop, students will engage in a variety of writing styles, including fiction, poetry and memoir. The class will include a general discussion of ways to become an amazing writer, writing exercises designed to generate new material and a seminar on publishing and the literary world. Grant Proposal Writing

If you want to learn the essentials of writing or acquiring grants for private, public, or government use, this program is perfect for you. You’ll discover how to develop successful grants by focusing on the skills needed to prepare professional, competitive compelling grant proposals. Military History Seminars These seminars on military history come alive each night as a different time period in history is studied. Your instructor will be in period attire complete with uniform, equipment, weaponry, food, as well as enemy items from the time period being portrayed. Instructor bio: Dan Reed is an historian, published author/director, historical tour guide, re–enactor, teacher, and military history buff. He has over 20 years of historical study and collecting.
