What is a Personal Advisor? A key feature of the support offered to students during their time at College are the Personal Advisors. If you attend College full time you will be allocated a Personal Advisor at the start of your course. Full time students have a review before Christmas where you can discuss how you are getting on. If you require help or advice outside these timetabled sessions then you can normally make arrangements to see your Personal Advisor at a convenient time by contacting Student Services.

How can they help me? Your Personal Advisor is your representative, advisor and mentor and is there to talk to if any issues arise. Your Personal Advisor will liaise closely with tutors to monitor progress and develop an overall picture of how each student is getting on in college. Issues can be discussed and guidance given to help with your studies, personal and welfare issues. The Personal Advisor will guide you through to further courses if you wish, into employment or even into higher education.

How can I contact my Advisor? The Personal Advisors are based in the Student Services Department located on the ground floor of the main site at North Street. The unit is open Monday Thursday, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm. Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm Evening students should book an appointment via the main College reception at North Street or by infozone
