When will the Ice Rink be open?

Weather is the most important issue when building an ice rink. Ideal conditions for an ice rink would be snow. Three inches of good solid ice is ideal for skating. Snow can act as an insulator, preventing thinner layers of ice from getting thicker during overnight cold temperatures. Ice must be thick enough for staff maintenance, including brushing and clearing of snow, as well as a light application of water to keep the rink smooth.

Our goal is to provide a safe and fun skating environment, with a little help from Mother Nature. We appreciate your patience with our staff and our winter weather!
