News of the family We give thanks for the lives of Darren Mansfield, Tom Dunford, Elliot Greenwood and Molly Curran, whose funeral services were all held at Bamford Chapel during the past month. Our thoughts and prayers are with their families at this sad time. Concerns continue to be expressed for Bob Gate, although it has been good to see him in church these past few Sundays. We are also asked to remember Patricia and John Lapworth, Linda Kerford, Jack Roberts, Tracey Scoresby, Audrey Morris, Michelle McLaughlin and Christian Platt in our prayers. Our Pastoral Visitors are now each attached to an Elder. If you would like a visit, or know someone who would, have a word with your Elder and it will be arranged. Special thanks go to Margaret Ogden and Joan Warner, who have been supporting Tracey Scoresby during her illness and treatment. Congratulations to Walter and Glenda Brisk, who celebrate their Diamond wedding anniversary (60 years!) at the end of March. Birthday greetings to Joyce Yates, who celebrated a big birthday this month. Congratulations are also due to Peter Meek, who has been appointed as Moderator of the East Midlands Synod. Another Bamford Chapel “old boy” to join Howard Sharp at the Moderators’ meetings.
