Guidelines for work set in Sixth Form All Faculties/subject areas agree that there should be:     

Prompt feedback in written and/or verbal form from staff on your work and how you can improve Commitment to meeting deadlines set Substantial amounts of time spent on personal study outside lessons Commitment to developing independent learning skills Acceptance of the fact that there are penalties for failing to complete tasks or engage fully in lessons

What will happen if things go wrong? Unfortunately, every year a very small number of students do not meet expectations in terms of attitude to learning, attendance or conduct. The Pastoral Team can impose a range of sanctions to include office hours, withdrawal of bursary, and ultimately withdrawal of a place in Sixth Form.
