THESIS STATEMENT

RESEARCH SUMMARY

Airports can combine efficiency and entertainment for their users through the use of technology and design, while putting awareness and a solution to the health and wellness in airport travel.

- There is a structured path users must follow in order to get through the airport while departing and arriving.

- We can use an app that stores all of our data to take us through the entire process from start to finish. - Using technology at every step decreases wait time. - Having different amenity areas for different users eliminates overcrowding.

- Once through security, the top five activities of the passenger are: - Listen to music - Read a book/magazine - Eat and drink - Browse the shops - People-watch

- Body scanners at the security checkpoint are not necessary. Hallways with the right technologies can scan masses of people instead of one at a time.

In this project... - users will have access to nature. - the feelings and functions of the users will determine what colors are used.

Located in San Francisco, California, this airport serves thousands of people from all over the world. The international terminal at San Francisco International Airport is the largest terminal, as it is the second largest international hub within California. It is easily accessible from the Baystate Freeway by car, and from the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), which runs throughout the city.
