Sega announce the next Yakuza game

Sega announce the next Yakuza game Sega have confirmed another game in the Yakuza franchise is on the way and this time it will star a new hero, Ichiban Kasuga, because Yakuza 6: The Song of Life was concluding story for series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu.

However, Ichiban Kasuga is not a new character and will be lifted from the Yakuza Online mobile game that is only available in Japan. He will be joined by a new female character, with Sega holding a competition for an actress to play Kasugas partner.

No other details have been announced, but we do know the game will come to PlayStation 4.
