Fall Fairy Garden Container Ideas

Containers, depending upon the size, shape, texture, and color, can be valuable focal points in miniature gardens. In fact, when considering design, containers are as important as the fairy houses, furniture, signs, or other fairy accessories placed in the pot. While selecting a container I consider which fairies or gnomes I am going to use, as well as the theme of the miniature garden. Next, I find the color on the exact opposite side of the wheel and use this complementary color in small amounts to contrast and enhance the main color. For example, if I already have purple-violet tones in my fairy garden, I would select another item or plant that has a yellow green hue. It is a trick we all learned in elementary school and will never stop applying to real life. How do I use color when I begin my project? Here are the steps I take. First, I select a theme. I would then reflect about the ideas that come to mind when I think about sipping a cup of coffee. I have memories of my grandfather, who liked to keep all of his nails, screws, and nuts-and-bolts organized in old, metal, coffee cans. One of his coffee tins would be the perfect container to enhance my fall coffee-party theme fairy garden. Not only is using this sentimental container a cool way show my love of coffee, but it is a small enough miniature fairy garden where I could use it as an indoor fall decoration and show off my love of coffee – while remembering my grandfather.
