Design & dignity how you can help

Page 1

The Design & Dignity Project How you can help Design & Dignity is an initiative of our Hospice Friendly Hospitals Programme which is working to enhance end-of-life care in Irish hospitals, where almost half of all deaths occur. The aim of Design & Dignity is fund exemplar projects in public hospitals, transform the way hospital spaces are designed for people at the end of life and set the standard for other hospitals to follow.

We need to raise an initial $1 million with a long-term target of an additional $3.5 million. Our vision is to roll out the Design & Dignity project across Ireland and to embed our Hospice Friendly Hospitals Programme within the health system. To achieve this vision an additional $3.5 million is needed. We need your help. Here is how: • You can pledge a donation. A pledge form and options are detailed overleaf. • You can sponsor a room. See table overleaf for a breakdown of project costs. • You can purchase a copy or copies of the beautifully produced book, The Gathering - Reflections on Ireland If you have personal or professional experience of end-of-life care that you’d like to share, we would be honored to hear from you.
