USER SARAH BLANCO 22 years old She is a responsible person who, as an environmental activist, is concerned about the impact we have on the environment, so she fights against the pollution of our planet. In her spare time she likes to take walks through nature, practice yoga and research about sustainable aspects. She keeps in mind that health is important in her life, for that reason she only buy organic and seasonal products that have not been altered.

DESCRIPTION Racó is a habitat for rabbits addressed to those owners who can not spend many hours with their pets. Avoiding conventional cage aesthetics, this proposal develops removable organic forms that increase accessibility and allow for better cleaning. The product, composed of two levels of height, the aim of that is animal’s confortability.

FOCAL USER DONA DAMAS 31 years old Dona is a very busy woman who spends a lot of time away from home as she combines two jobs. In the mornings when she’s getting up, arrives at work at 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in a London advertising agency. After lunch she teaches children in a language school, where she leaves at 6:30 p.m. Among his hobbies are reading, playing golf and taking care of his pet. She has a lovely rabbit but she does not have enough time to spend with him, as a busy person.

USER INVOLVED KUIQUI 9 years old Kuiqui is an older rabbit who can’t move so much. He’s nature is living underground on dens, where light doesn’t enter. Currently he lives in a common cage outside, which is not ready for climate changes.

CURRENT MARKET This is the type of cage in which Dona’s rabbit is found. If you want to take refuge The sun has a small cave in which you do not have much room to move, part of the fact that if it’s cold it can not take refuge at all. These cages are made of metal bars and plastic which the rabbit bites and It can be swallowed. On the other hand, the days when it rains, Dona covers the cage with a separate plastic so that the cage does not get wet, but if there is no one at home and it starts to rain Suddenly, the rabbit gets wet. In reference to the aesthetics of these cages, it seems that the animals are imprisoned, which gives an unpleasant image.

REFERENCES BIOPHILIC DESIGN This project is based on the search for designs inspired by nature, through the incorporation of vegetation, organic forms and sustainable materials for construction, such as wood and ceramics.

RACĂ“ RacĂł consists of two levels, separated into 4 sections: the aim of the first floor is make the rodent well sheltered in cold and rainy season. It has slides doors that Dona can open from either side. For access to the second floor the rodent has to cross through a tunnel as their den. The tunnel has anti-slip for a better grip of the animal. The upper part has a small area of grass that aims to make Kuiqui feel in a more natural environment. The structure of the cage has removable parts for better access when at the time of cleaning. Moreover, this cage is made with wood, ceramics and ABS.

DESCRIPTION This project is about a room alarm that has the function of making the time to leave sleep and the time to wake up, more comfortable for the user. It has an app linked to the alarm that offer different options of customization for a greater user enjoyment and functionality, as well as being able to change the colors of light or regulate its intensity.

BRAND This project is based on following the style of the Bang & Olufsen brand, which has a geometric, simple character, with soft shapes and edges. The selection of colors is pastel one’s that can integrate in any environment. The most characteristic materials of the company are aluminum, steel, leather and polymers. Also, but to a lesser extent, they use wood and textiles. This company is known for having great prestige for its sound quality of all its products, and is focused on users of medium-high economic status.

ANTUMBRA
Antumbra is an alarm clock made for people over 12 years old, who like a simple aesthetic out of an ornamental style. Antumbra is linked by his app, which the user can choose the sounds of the alarm clock and establish the time that it will sound. On the other hand, the alarm has the option of making it light up at the same time the sun rises. Also, touching a button on the top of the screen, it projects the time upwards. You have the option of emitting relaxing sounds for bedtime, or for those who practice meditation. The continuous light that emits is adjustable and have different color options, all this characteristics can be modified by the user into the app. Antumbra is a wireless alarm clock and is accompanied by an external charger.
