Coronation plans from St Mary's Launton

Enter our Coronation Celebration exhibition (entry is free)
We are planning a display to show the King’s interests in the Church on Sunday 7 May and Monday 8 May and invite you to join us by entering, and helping us fill the Church with colour and a celebratory atmosphere.
So please join us to make St Mary’s Church Coronation Celebration an event to remember, there is still time to enter, see page 24, as the closing date is not until 21 April. We welcome entries from individuals (adults and children) or groups and societies, and are really looking forward to celebrating King Charles III’s Coronation in Launton with the community.
Your entry, which will be on display in the Church, could be about any one of the King’s interests and he has many, see the mind map on page 24. There is no set size or dimensions. Your entry could be a painting, a poem, a model, a photograph, flowers or any idea that shows or represents one of King Charles’ interests. We would love to have as many entries as possible. More information will follow once you have entered.

We do hope you will join us for a cup of tea or coffee and cake, as well as admiring all the entries which will celebrate King Charles’ Coronation and be displayed in the Church on 7 and 8 May. There will be an “All Welcome Family Service” at 11am on Sunday 7 May.

Displays will be on show in St Mary’s Church on Sunday 7 May 12.30pm until 4.30pm and Monday 8 May 10.30am until 4.30pm

The Community Café closes at 4.30pm on Tuesday 4 April and reopens on Tuesday 18 April at 9.00am. Do come and join us then! The Café is open every Tuesday during school term time.
