new dark comedy from the award­winning performance artist Victoria Melody, her dad celebrity TV antique dealer Mike Melody, and a live New Orleans jazz band arrives in the form of Ugly Chief. In 2013 Mike Melody was diagnosed with a terminal illness. His daughter’s response was to organise the funeral of his dreams, his wildest fantasies – a remarkable idea to celebrate, and warm every heart. A year later the doctors told Mike and Victoria that they’d got it wrong. It was a misdiagnosis. With this in mind though, they decided to go ahead with the funeral anyway. Voilá!
