Peter Blake at Ink_d Gallery Ink-d Gallery dedicated the month of July to the celebration of Sir Peter Blake’s 80th birthday with an exhibition which featured both new and rare pieces of Peter’s work. A legend and an inspiration to many great artists, Peter’s most famous pieces from the ‘60s include the album cover of The Beatles’ Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Also see Snapshots, p12. Shadi Danin Medi Spa launched its new hairdressing salon, The Hair Retreat, on Saturday 25 August. The spa, which was founded by Dermocosmetologist and Trichologist Shadi Danin, based in Hove gained international recognition for their work. Doodley Dogs Launch Doodley Dogs, Shoreham’s paradise for pooches, saw the launch of their new outdoor play park on Saturday 18 August with celebrity TV vet Marc Abraham. The state-of-the-art and ground breaking dog daycare facility and puppy crèche has its own resident dog groomer and several themed boutique hotel rooms for overnight guests, ranging from a chilled out Temple Suite watched over by its own stone Buddha, to the Love Suite complete with plumped up red fluffy cushions. Owners Matt and Leon are constantly thinking up new ideas and innovative ways of offering their canine visitors the best in care and comfort.
