DAVID SNYdER Director of Video Operations

David Snyder joined the Louisiana Tech football program in 2008 after serving at Indiana University and is now in his third year as Tech’s director of LA Tech athletics video operations. Snyder is involved with all 16 NCAA sanctioned sports at Louisiana Tech, shooting, editing, putting together highlights and

coordinating the efforts of the video department. The Clemson grad played an integral role in helping coordinate the efforts of the new video board that was installed at Joe Aillet Stadium in the summer of 2009. Snyder also served as the Western Athletic Conference representative to the College Sports Video Association (CSVA) for the second year in a row. While with the Hoosiers, Snyder worked as a graduate assistant for the football team’s video department and earned a master’s degree in sport management. At Indiana, Snyder had responsibilities of filming and editing games, practices and opponents’ film. He also maintained the cameras and related equipment. Before his time at Indiana, Snyder earned his bachelor’s in communication studies from Clemson where he worked as a student assistant videographer. At Clemson, he ran press conferences from a lighting and video aspect and also shot, edited and cut each sport’s highlight tape. Snyder also worked as a representative for the Big Ten Network for Indiana and has shot video packages for ACC Live, Fox Sports Net and ABC Sports. Snyder married the former Elizabeth Davis in 2010.

Anna Kay Springer joined the Louisiana Tech football staff in December 2009. Anna Kay’s duties include overseeing the day-to-day operations of the football office and providing administrative support to Executive Assistant to the Head Football Coach the head football coach. Anna Kay graduated from Louisiana Tech University in March 2002 with a degree in psychology and has one daughter, Bailey. She married the former Louisiana Tech and current Alabama head equipment manager, Jeff Springer, in April 2011.

KEVIN THOMASZEK Graduate Assistant (Video Operations)

Kevin Tomaszek is entering his second year at Louisiana Tech University as the graduate assistant in the video department under the direction of David Snyder. While at LA Tech he is pursuing his master’s of science in kinesiology. His primary role is coordinating the filming and breakdown of practices and games for the

football team and creating weekly highlight packages. Tomaszek is a graduate of Boston University where he earned a bachelor’s of science in history education. During his time at Boston University, he was a video assistant for the Boston College University football team and was a camp assistant for their summer high school camps. His primary role at Boston College was managing the filming and editing of practices as well as the editing and breakdown of games.

Chris Vaszily returned to Louisiana Tech in 2010 as an intern with the strength and conditioning program. Vaszily comes to Tech after serving as the special teams coordinator for Louisiana-Monroe the past year. Intern (Strength and Conditioning) Vaszily’s first stint at Tech was from 2001-05 when he served as special teams, tight ends and wide receivers coach when Louisiana Tech entered the Western Athletic Conference and won its first league title during the 2001 season. Prior to his first stop in Ruston, Vaszily was the special teams coordinator and linebackers coach at Charleston Southern University for one season, a I-AA member of the Big South Conference. His year at Charleston Southern came after spending one season coaching tight ends, running backs and special teams for the Barcelona Dragons of the NFL Europe League. Vaszily also has worked as the tight ends, receivers and special teams coach at Liberty during the 1999 season, was the defensive backs coach and assistant strength coach at Itawamba Community College during the 1997-98 seasons and was an a strength and conditioning intern for Mississippi State in 1994. He broke into the coaching ranks at North Penn High School in Lansdale, Pa., coaching defensive backs and receivers. Vaszily is a 1990 graduate of Albright College and earned his master’s in sport science from the United States Sports Academy in 1994. He is married to the former Laurie LaBlue and the couple has two sons, Cole and Ty.
