Compagnie Rara Woulib takes its audience on a two-kilometre long walk, covering the entire city. The journey, together with 26 young French artists and a 30-strong choir, begins in Volksgarten park, passes through unfamiliar areas of the city to end with a celebration in a place that is undergoing major transformation. The creative process, which comes into being along the way, will be shared with up to 400 people participating in the procession; what is displayed here is magic that often remains unseen in everyday life and results from the city’s past in interaction with its relatives from history. “Deblozay” – chaos in Creole – is a charming and inspiring journey across the memories of the city – on which it would be better to embark in comfortable shoes.
