Christway Baptist Church Welcomes the LCF

Approximately three hundred (300) persons were in attendance when the LCF received a warm welcome by the Christway Baptist Church Service on November 18, 2018 prior to the Inaugural Benefit Gala. Pastor Wesley Green recognized the outstanding charitable work of the LASCO Affiliated companies and welcomed the LCF to his church and to Florida.
LCF supports People Profile Awards

On February 8, 2019, LASCO Gift Baskets were presented at the People Profile Award Ceremony Launch. The LCF partnered with the People Profile Awards in recognizing the accomplishments of individuals, groups, and entities, and the impact that they have on others, the community and the world and in highlighting them as unsung heroes doing extraordinary things.

St Andrew Old Girls Association Florida Chapter Cocktails & Canapes
On February 16, 2019, the LCF supported St. Andrew High School Alumni Florida Chapter in their mission for continuous improvement to the academic life and welfare of students.
LASCO Gift Baskets were presented at their annual Cocktails & Canapes event. A Gift Basket was presented to a Past Teacher of St Andrew High School in recognition for outstanding contribution
Jamusa’s 57th Year of Music
On Sunday, February 24, 2019 the LCF supported Denver (Jamusa) Silvera of Mello Canary Sound System and of WAVS radio fame, who was recognized at an event dubbed “Jamusa’s 57th Year of Music” at the Central Broward Regional Park in Lauderhill, Florida, for his outstanding musical contributions to the community.

Dinthill Technical High School Alumni Association of Florida Spring Ball
On March 16, 2019, LCF supported the Dinthill Technical High School Alumni Association of Florida Spring Ball. LASCO Gift Baskets were presented by Karen and Clarence Reynolds, LCF volunteers in Florida



Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes supports LCF
Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time. On March 26, 2019, Phillip Cross, President of Kiwanis Club of Lauderdale Lakes, presented a cheque in the amount of US$1,000.00 to Prof. Rosalea Hamilton, CEO of LASCO Chin Foundation in support of the LCF SSI Schooling Support Programme where the LCF seeks to improve Jamaica one child and one community at a time.
