Hello Lancers!

Please accept my sincere gratitude to the La Salle College Preparatory community for welcoming me with open arms as the principal of this extraordinary institution for the last two years. It has been an incredible journey, full of excitement, challenge, and growth. I am honored to have had the privilege to be part of our esteemed faculty and staff to serve those entrusted to our care.

When I first arrived at this school, I was struck by the warm and welcoming atmosphere that pervaded every corner of the campus. The students were friendly and eager to learn, and the faculty and staff were dedicated to providing the best possible education to their charges. I knew immediately that I had found a special place and was excited to be a part of it.

Over the last two years, I have been constantly impressed by the level of commitment and dedication that I have seen from everyone in the school and community. From the parents who volunteer their time and resources to support our programs, to our educators who go above and beyond to ensure that our students succeed, to the students who give their all every day, this school truly is a special place where our Lasallian mission and charism is evident in all that we do.

I want to thank The Board of Trustees, President Perry Martin, and the rest of my administrative team. Working alongside so many talented and committed individuals has been my pleasure. Together, we have accomplished so much over the last two years. We have implemented new programs and initiatives to enhance student learning, engagement, and experience. We have worked tirelessly to ensure all students have the support they need to succeed, and going forward; we have positioned La Salle as the school of choice in the San Gabriel Valley and beyond.

I have also been impressed by the level of support and involvement that we have received from the wider community. Whether through financial donations, volunteer work, or simply showing up to cheer on our sports teams, our Lancers have benefited from this exceptional level of support and love. Thank you for your unwavering commitment to our school, students, faculty, and staff.

As I move on to new challenges and opportunities, I will always cherish the memories of my time here at this school. I will remember the smiles on the faces of our students as they learned and grew, the laughter and camaraderie among our faculty and staff, and the sense of community and belonging that permeated everything we did.

To the students, you are the reason we do what we do. You are the future and we believe in you wholeheartedly. I have seen firsthand the incredible potential that each one of you possesses, and I know that you will go on to do great things for your families, your communities, this nation, and the world.

In closing, I want to express my every confidence in my good friend, Mr. Ernest Siy, as he assumes the interim principal role. He is a dedicated educator who will continue to center our students and their experience in every action and decision he makes for this wonderful school community. Again, thank you to everyone for making my time here such a wonderful experience. I am grateful for all the opportunities I have had, and I will always carry the lessons I have learned here with me. I wish you all the best in the future, and I hope our paths will cross again someday.
