Based at our South Kensington salon, Issey started out as Larry’s primary assistant for 4 years - travelling the world, attending fashion shows and living a hairstylist’s dream.

WHAT EXCITES YOU ABOUT HAIR STYLING?

I love giving people looks that are tailored just for them. A new look can feel like you have a new persona: whether that be cool, soft, perfectly imperfect, polished and glam, or sleek and edgy - the list is endless. I also love to get dressed with my hair being incorporated into my look as sometimes the hair can be the main focus.

WHAT IS YOUR LARRY KING HAIRCARE ROUTINE?

My Larry King Haircare routine can change day-to-day depending on whether I want to embrace my curls or give myself that perfect bouncy blow-dry. On the days I’m wearing my natural texture, I use a good amount of Nourishing Curl Enhancer and My Nanna’s Mousse to lock in and define my curls. Once it’s dried, I scrunch in A Social Life For Your Hair to hold the style. will reapply A Social Life For Your Hair for the next few days to really make my curls last and look their best. When I want to give myself that perfect bouncy blow-dry, I cover my hair in Volumizing Hair Mist and My Nanna’s Mousse, I’m never scared to use too much because they make my hair feel super light and bouncy.
