“I RECEIVED EXCEPTIONAL HELP AND SUPPORT FROM EVERYONE IN TULLAMORE FETC” Undertaking the QQI Level 5 Nursing Studies PLC programme gave me a concrete foundation of crucial knowledge and a person-centered skill set which proved to be invaluable to my current studies and future career. I found the course to be a great stepping stone in transitioning from second to third level education as it provided me with opportunities to become competent in assignment writing and experience essential to healthcare and care giving skills. These significantly prepared me for the work experience module as part of this course because it gave me the opportunity to put my learning into practice.
Ciara Sheridan QQI Level 5 Nursing Studies
It also helped me when working as a healthcare assistant in Ireland before progressing to third level education in the UK. I received exceptional help and support from everyone, for example tutors, guidance counsellor and learning support service who went above and beyond for me throughout my studies. I can wholeheartedly say I would not be where I am today without completing this programme at Tullamore FETC and I would really encourage anyone thinking of pursuing a career in nursing to undergo this course.

“THIS PROGRAMME GAVE ME GREAT FOUNDATIONS THAT I COULD BUILD ON DURING COLLEGE”
Hannah Benn Applied Science Student
The QQI Level Applied Science PLC programme helped prepare me for what lay ahead of me at third level, with a lot of the content being covered again in my college course that I did during the PLC. I knew how to lay out my lab reports allowing time to focus on the newer ideas and more complex tasks. Overall, it gave me great foundations that I could build on during college! I still, to this day, use the resources like the lab report assignment template for my labs here in UL and all the work experience templates for any interviews or CVs I have to send in for my upcoming school placement.
