X-Trouser DA6493 NEW Pair Lost a pair of trousers getting in and out of your Defender? Here is the simple solution. Not only does it protect your trousers, in many cases it makes the door close more reliably and helps (though it does not entirely stop) the seat belt getting caught in the latch. If the seat belt does become caught as you close the door, it suffers less damage due to the smooth profile of the X-Trouser. The X-Trouser has a smooth profile, if your belt loop or pocket runs over it, it will slide off freely. Made from high quality 304 grade stainless steel. The X-Trouser catch is reversible so it will fit both the driver and passenger doors, left & right hand drive. It will also fit the rear side doors of 110 Station Wagons.

The console is supplied in three separate pieces. The product has been designed with CAD software and the moulding finished off using CNC machinery to ensure an OE level fit and finish to the product. It is supplied with a DIN blanking panel but the central binnacle will fit any DIN sized accessory such as a stereo, CB/HAM radio or even a digital tachograph. The single DIN aperture will also accept a bank of seven Carling Technologies switches by using the Carling interlocking switch mounts. Will the Defender roof console fit my vehicle? The console has been designed to fit all post 1983 Defender models without a sunroof and with a factory headlining. The fixing method does not require removal or cutting of the headlining or sun visors. (Some later models will require trimming of the central area of the headlining when fitting a DIN unit). If you have a non-factory headlining it is unlikely it will fit without modification of the headlining. If you have a Series vehicle, again it is unlikely it will fit without modification.
