The Vintage Marketplace gathers together forty of the finest purveyors of vintage clothes, accessories, mid-century modern home wares, records, music memorabilia and up-cycled ephemera. Curated by Poor Boy Paul There’s a whole lotta shakin’ going on! Shimmy and shuffle in your blue suede shoes as rockin’ bands The Crown Top Kings, The Hayriders, and The Rhythm Kings bring the best of 1950s rock ‘n’ roll. Poor Boy Paul will be spinning the vinyl and will be providing jive and rock ‘n’ roll dance lessons. Kris Drever & Eamonn Coyne Kris Drever has gained fame as part of the acclaimed group Lau whilst Éamonn Coyne has been part of the lauded Treacherous Orchestra or with Salsa Celtica. ‘Storymap’ is Coyne and Drever’s recording of traditional folk and song. Coyne dazzles on both the banjo and tenor guitar. Drever plays the guitar and mandolin. Thursday 11 September 8pm £14.

Last Night of the Proms Evening of music and song with the Pilling Jubilee Silver Band and Mezzo Soprano Wendy Sharrock. The band has had great success over the last few years and has won trophies in many of the contests it has entered. Wendy Sharrock has song with Opera North in Leeds. Expect traditional music with a rousing finale. Friday 12 September 8pm £9.

Carthy, Hardy, Farrell & Young Four of the finest female players in British music, Eliza Carthy, Bella Hardy, Lucy Farrell and Kate Young bring together passion, soul and enormous talent. Their four part harmonies and quartet fiddle playing revive old favourites and initiate brand new songs. Friday 26 September 8pm £14.

The Blues Band The Blues Band is on tour with their new album: ‘Few Short Lines’ which demonstrates the veneration of their peers. Solid tradition and musical showmanship result in the finest bluesmen in Europe: Paul Jones, Dave Kelly, Rob Townsend, Gary Fletcher and Tom McGuinness.

Omid Djalili - Iranalamadingdong He’s back on tour with a new show, following a sell-out four week West-End residency and a sold-out season at the Edinburgh Festival. Omid’s stand-up awards include; ‘Time Out Award’ and ‘EMMA Award’ for Best Stand Up and nominated for the ‘South Bank Award’. “Right now, the Iranian Djalili is probably one of the most subversive, let alone funniest, comedians around” (Guardian) Friday 3 October 8pm £23. 16+

Nucleus Roots supported by Steve Jah:vis with the Lancaster One Love Sound System Nucleus Roots have a massive stage presence and produce a contagiously danceable, uplifting reggae roots sound. The vibe harks back to the 80s ‘digitalised’’ sound as well as looking forward to a positive musical future. Feelings run high when Nucleus take the stage so be prepared for a live performance that will take you through the full gamut of emotions. Saturday 11 October 8pm £12. 18+

Steampunk Craft Fair A Victorian steampunk market with a range of stalls and refreshments on sale. Entertainment from ‘Brickdust’, ‘Rich Tea’ and magician Kevin Cunliffe.

Lulo Reinhardt Master class Join Lulo Reinhardt in an intimate setting for a master class on his development of Latin swing. Lulo is a virtuoso guitarist who carries on the legacy of his grand uncle Django Reinhardt. Lulo’s unique style of playing derives from blending aspects of his Gypsy heritage with music from around the world. Lulo and his band demonstrate the unique fusions that result in what has become the signature sound of Lulo Reinhardt, Latin/Swing. Sunday 19 October 3.30pm £10. Max 12 participants


Lulo Reinhardt Latin Swing Project feat: Lulo Reinhardt and band

A unique show with gypsy guitar legend Lulo Reinhardt complete with his top class band. Lulo represents one of the most unique voices in gypsy-jazz music today. His Latin-Swing Project combines pure gypsy-swing music with elements of Latin music such as flamenco, tango, and bossa nova. Sunday 19 October 7.30pm £12.50.

Leo and Anto One Saw Doctor, One Waterboy Saw Doctor Leo Moran and Waterboy Anthony Thistlethwaite have put together an intimate two hour acoustic show featuring stripped down unplugged versions of Saw Doctors hits such as: ‘Red Cortina’ ‘Clare Island’ and ‘Same Oul’ Town’. Thursday 23 October 8pm £14.

Peatbog Faeries Hailing from the Isle of Skye, the Peatbog Faeries are the figurehead trailblazers of the Celtic Dance Music renaissance. Drawing upon a dazzling myriad of influences from traditional jigs and reels through jazz, hip hop, reggae and more, they take traditional Scottish music and bring it fresh-faced and breathless into the 21st century. Saturday 25 October 8pm £15 / £14 concession. 14+

Hugless Douglas Hugless Douglas wakes up one morning in need of a hug. He tries to find the perfect one, but none of them seem quite right. But he soon discovers that there’s only one hug that will do - a big bear hug from his mum! Little cubs aged 3-7 years will love this tale full of laughter, sing along songs and plenty of opportunities to join in. Monday 27 October 11.30am & 2.30pm £7 adult / £6 child £24 family (2+2).


The Lady Boys of Bangkok – “Red Hot Kisses” The Lady Boys of Bangkok are setting the stage on fire with a fabulous mix of fun and frolics. This production includes 16 of Thailand’s most beautiful ladyboys, performing a show like no other! This show drips with diamante and sizzles with new songs and side splitting comedy in truly glamorous style, with flamboyant costumes, and show stopping choreography. Thursday 30 October 7.30pm £22.50 / £21 concession. 18+

Darkside The Pink Floyd Show Enjoy a real Floyd fest with sound tracks from the early years of Syd Barrett through the iconic periods of Dark Side Of The Moon and Wish You Were Here to the later albums of The Wall and Division Bell supported by a spectacular laser light show and projected images. Saturday 1 November 8pm £15.

Morecambe Brass Band Remembrance Concert Enjoy this annual performace of traditional brass band music and service of remembrance. Proceeds are donated to the British Legion Poppy Appeal, Burma Star Association and other local ATC and the Army and Navy Cadets. Beatlemania The Beatlemania show superbly recreates the legendary live performances of The Beatles from their ‘mop top’ roots, through the psychedelic age of Sgt. Pepper then on to the final years of Abbey Road and Let It Be. Friday 14 November 7.30pm £17.50.


Promenade Concert Orchestra ‘Music for You: Dancing Nights’ Dance and ballet music from different periods and styles, including: ‘Dancing Nights’, ‘Di Ballo’, ‘Cinderella Waltz’ and other ballet pieces by the 90 year-old Lancashire-born doyen of English light music, Ernest Tomlinson and other popular ballet and dance music. Sunday 16 November 3pm £14 adult / £12 concession / £6 child.

The Fortunes ‘Past and Present’ Hit band of the 60s and 70s perform “You’ve Got Your Troubles”, “Here It Comes Again”, “Storm in a Teacup”, “Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again”. This intimate show will include all The Fortunes fabulous hits with anecdotes and stories. Friday 21 November 7.30pm £16 / £15 concession.

Michael Portillo ‘Life a Game of Two Halves’ Since leaving the House of Commons almost a decade ago, Michael Portillo has endeared himself to many with his obvious respect for solid workmanship like our great Victorian railways and his obvious care for the underprivileged. Listen to his extraordinary story and then feel free to question him about it. Saturday 22 November 7.30pm £15 / £13 concession.

Shooglenifty Shooglenifty is one of Scotland’s most unique musical exports. These maverick Godfathers of Celtic dance mercilessly forge a sizzling, exciting mix of traditional talent and super funky phonics, melding heritage and hedonism into one unbreakable whole. The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra with the Sounds of Bublé and the Kings of Swing The Moonlight Serenade Orchestra returns to its favourite venue with an evening dedicated to Michael Bublé and the Kings of Swing showcasing the great vocals of the Swing era in a night of foot tapping and gentle humour. Saturday 29 November 7.30pm £14.

Maddy Prior and the Carnival Band with carols and capers A unique celebratory show of Christmas music on renaissance and modern instruments. Maddy and the Carnival Band put their inimitable stamp on familiar and not-so-familiar festive fare with a refreshing cavalier attitude and plenty of humour. This will guarantee to be a Christmas party to remember. Thursday 4 December 8pm £19.50.

A Vision of Elvis All the classic hits, from the hip swivelling 50s ‘Sun Studios’ to the ‘Movie Years’ and the ‘1968 Comeback Special’ with the finale being the electrifying ‘Jumpsuit Concert Years’. Backed by a world class band and featuring Full HD projection.

Vin Garbutt Powerful, hugely moving, warm, humane, inspired, funny and gut wrenchingly honest. His songs are inspired by the folk tradition, but have transformed into gritty social comment and life observations. Morecambe Brass Band Christmas Celebration Concert Celebrate the 125th year anniversary of Morecambe Brass Band with this traditional festive concert. The band will play an array of carols to get you into the Christmas spirit. Saturday 20 December 7.30pm SPECIAL PRICE ALL TICKETS £5.

Peter Logan Travels with My Camera Join Peter as he takes you on a worldwide journey via some of his favourite places from Cape Town and St. Helena (the island where Napoleon was exiled 200 years ago) to Norway and Spitzbergen and share his experiences of sailing through the Caribbean. A New Year Viennese Concert Celebrate the New Year with music by the Strauss family and associated composers of the time as well as a few surprises to ‘pop open’ the champagne bottle!
