Edinger Pediatrics’ mission is to provide the highest level of pediatric care possible, by putting our patients first and being involved in pediatric education, teaching and research. Being up to date on the latest medical education and technology allows us to offer painless tests, utilize specialized technology for monitoring difficult to treat illnesses (such as asthma), and perform many office procedures and tests. We have also spent years involved in FDA-sponsored vaccine research. We offer pediatric care for all children from birth through teens - including well checks, immunizations, sick visits, sports physicals, and more. Additionally, our medical office staff is well trained, child-friendly, and professional. Our providers see newborns at Orange Coast Memorial and Hoag Presbyterian Hospitals. Awarded OCMA 2022 Physician of Excellence Dr. Pellman received his medical degree with honors from the University of Illinois. His internship was at LA County-USC Medical Center, and he completed his pediatric residency training at the University of Illinois Research Hospital in Chicago. After service in the U.S. Army, he joined Edinger Medical Group Pediatrics Department (now Edinger Pediatrics). He has been very active in the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) both nationally, as a member of the infectious disease, breastfeeding and armed service (West) sections, and locally, in its Orange County Chapter as President, education chair, breastfeeding coordinator and PROS (Pediatric Research in the Office Setting) chair. He is a clinical professor of pediatrics at University of California, Irvine, and has been involved for many years with both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research in children. He and his wife have five daughters and seven grandchildren.

Dr. Tran graduated cum laude from Harvard University. Following a brief stint as a financial analyst on Wall Street, she received her medical degree from the Dartmouth University/Brown University Medical Program. She completed her pediatric residency and training at UCLA. She has been, and continues to be, very involved in volunteer activities in the Vietnamese community as well as international medical missions She has also been involved in both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research.

Dr. Chacon received her Doctorate of Medicine from UC Davis. She completed her pediatric internship and residency at UC Irvine, which included training at CHOC Children’s Hospital, Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach and UC Irvine Medical Center, and then served at CHOC as a staff attending physician and hospitalist. She has been with Edinger Medical Group Pediatric Department (now Edinger Pediatrics) for more than two decades. She has done both FDA-sponsored and independent vaccine research in children, participated in several international medical mission projects and remains active in her church and community.

After graduating from UC Berkeley, Dr. Lee went on to obtain her Doctorate of Medicine degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of California, San Diego and has been practicing full-time for over 20 years. She served at a Spanish speaking community clinic, established a private pediatric office, and worked for a large multispecialty medical group. Dr. Lee’s main goal has always been to work closely with families to nurture happy and healthy children. She also speaks conversational Cantonese.
