인터뷰 : Pastor Yun Choi (가서 모든 족속으로 제자 삼으라!)
I had the privilege to be a pastor at and because of that I will always look at Hebron as my first love for ministry. When I came back to Hebron after the 4 years I was a youth pastor here from 1996-2000, my impression of this church was such a positive one. There were so many old faces that I was able to reconnect with along with meeting new people as well. I have been so blessed and encouraged by so many of the church members that come up to me and tell me that they are praying for me and my family as we make this transition back to Hebron. Not only that but I’m continuously overwhelmed and blessed by the generosity of so many members in our church. From all the food to the gift cards that are anonymously left on our desks, I’m so blessed by our church! To be honest, I don’t see too many differences from when I served here back in the day. If anything the only difference would be the changes in leadership (i.e. Pastors and Elders) and seeing the members get a little older.
에 자리합니다. 헤브론교회에서 목회자로서 의 첫 사역을 하는 특권을 누린 곳이기에 제게 는 언제나 목회의 첫사랑과도 같은 곳입니다. 1996년부터 2000년도까지 4년 동안 유스그룹 을 섬겼다가 다시 돌아왔는데, 헤브론교회가 주는 느낌은 매우 긍정적입니다. 다시 만나게 된 많은 낯익은 분들과 함께 새롭게 만나게 된 분들도 아주 많습니다. 많은 분께서 저와 제 가족이 헤브론교회로 다시 돌아와 잘 적응할 수 있도록 기도하신다는 말씀을 해 주시니 저 는 아주 큰 축복과 격려를 받고 있습니다. 그 뿐만 아니라 교회 많은 분의 지속적인 관심과 호의에 몸둘 바를 모를 지경입니다. 제 책상에 주신 이의 이름도 없이 놓여 있는 그 많은 음 식들과 상품권들, 저는 정말로 교회를 통해 큰 은혜를 받고 있습니다. 솔직히 말씀 드리면 제 가 처음 여기서 목회했을 때와 비교해보면 별 로 달라진 걸 느끼지 못하겠습니다. 굳이 꼽자 면, 교회의 지도층(목사님들이나 장로님들)이 바뀐 것과 성도님들이 조금 나이가 드셨다는 정도입니다.
Q.What is your ministry vision and how is this vision being implemented in the Education Department of Hebron?
Q. 목회자로서의 비전은 무엇이며, 그것이 목 사님께서 담당하실 헤브론교회 교육부에 어떻 게 적용될 수 있을까요?
I have always had a passion in ministry to make sure the Great Commandment and the Great Commission are at the heart of everything that I do. Loving God and loving others with the love of Christ along with “Going and making disciples of all nations…” with the Gospel message is the vision that God has given me for my ministry. This will be the heartbeat for why our Education Department exists at Hebron and our vision is to make sure that all who go through our Education Ministries will hear the Gospel of grace preached consistently but they will also be challenged to live out the Great Commandment and the Great Commission in their lives.
저는 늘 제가 하는 모든 사역의 중심에 하나님 의 큰 계명과 지상명령을 분명하게 두어야 한 다는 열정이 있습니다. 하나님을 사랑하고 주 의 사랑으로 다른 이들을 사랑하고, ‘가서 모든 족속으로 제자를 삼으라’는 말씀과 함께 복음 을 전하는 것이 하나님께서 제 목회를 위해 주 신 비전입니다. 이것이 헤브론교회 교육부가 존재하는 핵심이 될 것이며 우리의 비전은 교 육부를 거쳐 가는 모든 학생에게 지속해서 은 혜의 복음에 대해 설교를 하고 그들이 하나님 의 가장 큰 계명과 지상명령을 실천하며 살아 갈 수 있도록 도전하는 것입니다.
