The lake level was 654.1, generation of 10,000 cubic feet per second (CFS) decreasing to 4,000 CFS throughout the week for a level of 654.2 by the weekend. Surface temperature at Bagnell Dam was 50 degrees. Truman Lake was at the 707.1 level.

To Note: The Lower Lake is from the dam to the 22mile mark; Mid-Lake is from the 22- to 44-mile mark, the Upper Osage is from the 44-mile mark to the Route 65 Bridge.
Tournament Results: Lawson Hibdon and Dirk Sluyter won the Bass World Sports tournament last Sunday with five bass weighing 20.03 pounds.
Bagnell Dam spillway/Osage River
Water clarity: Stained. White bass: Fair on small swimbaits and jigs in the eddies.
Lower Lake
Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair on crankbaits, suspending jerkbaits and Ned rigs along rock transition banks in coves. Crappie: Good on bobber-and-jig setups 4 to 8 feet deep along secondary points.
Gravois
Water clarity: Upper end is murky and lower end is clear. Black bass: Good on suspending jerkbaits and Alabama rigs along main and secondary points. Crappie: Good on jigs 12 feet deep under docks.
Mid-Lake
Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Fair to good on suspending jerkbaits, jigs, crankbaits and spinnerbaits along rock transition banks in coves. Crappie: Excellent on bobber-and-jig setups 3 feet deep along secondary points and in the middle of creeks around shad schools. White bass: Good on jigs along secondary points and in the middle of creeks around shad schools.
Grand Glaize
Water clarity: Muddy. Black bass: Fair on Alabama rigs, jigs and jerkbaits along creek channel swings. Crappie: Fair on jigs in brush and along docks 5 to 10 feet deep.
Niangua
Water clarity: Murky. Black bass: Fair on crankbaits, suspending stickbaits and jigs along docks in coves. Crappie: Good on jigs 5 to 6 feet deep along drop-offs near flats. White bass: Good on jigs along drop-offs near flats.
Upper Osage
Water clarity: Clear. Black bass: Slow on Chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and square bill crankbaits along secondary points. Crappie: Fair on minnows and jigs 10 to 15 feet deep around docks.
Truman Dam spillway
Water clarity: Stained. Crappie: Fair on jigs and minnows in the dead water channel. White bass: Fair on jigs along the rock riprap when water is running. Catfish: Fair on cut shad in the dead water channel.
