DR. FAY RIDDLE Longtime Professor and Chair of Computer Science Dr. Fay Aycock Riddle passed away on Nov. 24, 2021. She came to the college in 1980 and retired at the end of 2015 after 35 years of service.

“When Fay was passionate about something, you knew it,” said Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs Greg McClanahan. “She was passionate about her family, the Florida Gators and Computer Science. In addition, Fay loved LaGrange College—and she was so proud of her students and what they accomplished.” Dr. Riddle graduated from Tulane University with a degree in mathematics and went on to receive her master’s degree and Ph.D. in mathematics from the University of Florida.
