Who we are? SIA Laflora a peat production company established in 1995. Located in Latvia, a country in northern part of Europe. One of the largest and recognised peat producers in Latvia. Annual turnover: EUR 12,000,000 Average number of employees: 300
Our resources: Total area for peat extraction: 1,594 ha. Total amount of available peat resources: 41,500,000 m続
Raw material: We extract two types of peat the peat bogs: Milled peat, Block peat. Annually extracted amounts: 400,000 m続 of Milled peat, 140,000 m続 of Block peat.
Our products: Specialisation in high quality peat products for use in professional horticulture. Production of peat products in our factory: Peat fractions, Peat substrates. We produce and sell around 620,000 m続 of packaged peat and substrates a year. Available peat fractions:

Peat substrates: Maintenance of constant high quality of end product. Use of mix of milled and block peat, and high quality additives form worldwide recognised suppliers. Use of automated substrate line and quality controls during production process. Involvement of scientists from Institute of Biology of University of Latvia in development of peat substrate recipes. Possibility to produce peat substrates based on client’s recipe.

Peat substrate for seeding of tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet pepper, leek, chrysanthemum, and other seedlings that are particularly demanding for fertilisers.
Peat substrate for cultivating vegetable crops, such as tomatoes, cucumbers, sweet peppers, strawberries, potatoes and other fructifying plants. Used also for cultivating chrysanthemum, freesias and carnation.
