Las imágenes de esta exposición, tomadas en París entre 1930 y 1966, provienen del estudio personal del fotógrafo, así como de numerosas colecciones. Su profundo amor por la gente y la vida modesta se refleja en sus fotografías, convertidas hoy en verdaderos iconos —como la famosa El beso del Hôtel de Ville—. Aunque durante un periodo trabajó para Vogue, siempre prefirió la calle, para así estar más cerca de la gente sencilla. Steidl edita el catálogo publicado para la exposición. > Hasta el 18 de abril Robert Doisneau is one of the photographers that has transformed Paris into a myth, like Atget, who he deeply admired, or Cartier-Bresson. The images contained in this exhibition, taken in Paris between 1930 and 1966, are from the photographer’s personal studio, as well as numerous collections. His profound love for people and humble life is reflected in his photographs, which today are genuine icons — like the famous Kiss by the Hôtel de Ville. Despite having worked for Vogue for a period of time, he always preferred the street, the peripheries, the cafés in order to be closer to everyday people. (7) Congo (Belga) (Belgian) Congo Carl de Keyzer Durante más de seis años Carl de Keyzer recorrió la actual República Democrática del Congo siguiendo la Guide Du Voyageur du Congo Belge, una guía publicada en 1954 sobre el antiguo Congo Belga. Retrató el país visitando lugares construidos por los belgas, como fábricas o puertos que hoy están casi en ruinas. La exposición se completa con una selección de cerca de cien fotografías del Koninklijk Museum voor Midden-Afrika. Inéditas o rara vez expuestas, nos sitúan en contexto la historia que De Keyzer expone en primicia, coincidiendo con el cincuenta aniversario de la independencia de Congo. > Hasta el 16 de mayo For over six years, Carl de Keyzer traversed the present-day Democratic Republic of the Congo following the Guide Du Voyageur du Congo Belge, a guide to the erstwhile Belgian Congo published in 1954. He documented the country visiting places erected by the Belgians, such as factories and ports, which today are in ruins. Rounding out the exhibition is a selection, of close to a hundred photographs from the Koninklijk Museum voor Midden-Afrika. Unpublished or rarely exhibited, they serve to contextualize the history

Shore, anchored in the roots of documentary photography, is a reference for new generations of artists that use the medium of photograph as form of expression. This is due to his mastery of the use of colour and his work based on encounters during his travels throughout the United States.
