The fading paintwork on the road surface of the roads and parking area at the Tzaneen Lifestyle Centre will be redone soon. Ms Suzette Dippenaar of the Lifestyle management team said templates for the stop signs and other markings were ordered and the repainting will be done before the rainy season starts. The reason for the short-lived paintwork was explained by a construction expert to be normal on a newly tarred surface. Once the surface has settled and stabilized, the absorbtion of paint into the tarmac is limited to the minimum. ‘n Groep leerlinge van die Laerskool Tzaneen het koppe laat draai tydens ‘n jaarlikse Bybelvasvra by die Laerskool Hennopspark. James Vorster, Carmi Venter, Barri Gerber en Jan Carel van Niekerk het aan die skool ‘n tweede agtereenvolgende oorwinning besorg.

Die Hoërskool Ben Vorster se jaarlikse Mnr en Mej Vossie-kompetisie word op Woensdag 28 Augustus om 18:30 in die skoolsaal gehou. Die gaskunstenaar is die sanger Arno Jordaan. Die kaartjies kos R80 en R60 en is reeds beskikbaar by me Loots by die Munt. Koop maar betyds om teleurstelling te voorkom. Hier is vanjaar se Vossie-glanspaartjie, Zané Scholtz (Steyn) en Theo Maree, wat dan die aand sal uittree as hul opvolgers aangekondig word.
