Welcome to LEH Junior School Extra-Curricular Clubs.
Please encourage your daughter to take advantage of the many opportunities available to her. We hope that the extra-curricular clubs will help your daughter to develop and practise new skills and make new friends.
At the back of this booklet, you will find a useful summary of all the clubs on offer, which are paid for and when they occur.
Bookings
The Clubs Fair on Friday 6th September provides an opportunity for all pupils to find out more about the clubs on offer this term. The SOCS booking system for the Autumn Term clubs is open from 10 am Saturday 7th September until 6pm on Monday 9th September. If you have been successful in booking a place online, you should assume your daughter will be attending that club from the week beginning Monday 16th September. Please note, if a club is full, there is a waiting list booking option, where you can register your interest.
As a school, we recognise the importance of making new friends and socialising in the playground when settling into a new school environment. There are three lunchtime clubs available to Form 1 pupils in the Autumn Term so that pupils have at least two days when they can play outside. We also ask that Form 1 parents do not sign up for more than two after school clubs in the Autumn term as this first, long term (with longer journeys for some), is often very tiring for younger pupils.
Please note that pupils are not able to attend two clubs on any given lunchtimeas they will also need time to eat their lunch.
