pop/off/art gallery is one of the leading and most significant art galleries on the Russian contemporary art market. The gallery focuses on artists from Russia and Eastern European countries. The gallery is ranked among the top 5 Russian galleries according to Forbes magazine Russia and is listed in the top 500 Galleries of the World list (according to Blouin Artinfo). The gallery was founded by an art critic Sergey Popov in Moscow in 2004. In 2011, the gallery reopened its doors at Winzavod CCA – one of the central art clusters of Eastern Europe focusing on Moscow’s contemporary culture. Since 2015, the gallery occupies a new space specifically designed by the architect Alexander Brodsky. The gallery works with both well established and emerging artists. Today, pop/off/art represents artists like Erik Bulatov, Irina Nakhova, Rostislav Lebedev, Olga Chernysheva, Anatoly Osmolovsky, Vitaly Pushnitsky and artists of a younger generation like Vladimir Potapov, Ivan Plusch and Ivan Novikov.
