Flying into Trouble Indonesian Air Force Compel Swiss Aviator Heinz Pier Violating National Airspace to Land in North Sumatra The continuing search for the wreckage of MAS 370 and suggestions that the plane may have flown through Indonesian airspace undetected were dispelled in part by reception given on Thursday, April 10, 2014, to single-engine aircraft that strayed into Indonesian airspace. A Swearingen SX-300 aircraft flown and hand-built by a retired Swiss aviator violated Indonesian airspace while flying from Colombo, Sri Lanka to Singapore and was subsequently intercepted by F-16 fighters from the Indonesian Air Force and forced to land at Soewondo Airbase near Medan, North Sumatra. As the airplane flown by 65-

year-old Swiss adventurer Heinz Peir came to a stop on the runway the pilot found his airplane surrounded by armed combat troops armed and fully prepared to prejudicially bring to end any untowardly situation that might develop. Fortunately, the man quickly surrendered to military police, was frisked and led away for question by Air Force and national aviation authorities. The Swiss aviator, Heinz Pier, maintains a blog online retelling of his visits to more than

Pets Not Welcome

BALI THE RIGHT WAY Gday again folks and welcome to the best read on the streets of Bali. The Easter break is all but upon us at the moment with the vacancy rates almost disappearing since the Christmas rush. I always like this time of year and find it funny to sit and enjoy a few beers and explain to an unsuspecting Indonesian how Easter works back home in Australia. You can see the look of dis-belief on their faces when you tell them that a bunny rabbit delivers chocolate eggs wrapped in aliasj@kutaweekly.com colored foil because this is what Christians believe. I think the hardest thing for them to comprehend is that the eggs are hidden in the garden and the children enjoy searching for them. One couple tied very hard to understand my Rudimentary explanation and just couldn’t get their heads around why the eggs are chocolate and why they come from a rabbit. I think the wife must have asked me 3 times if the rabbits in Australia lay egg, same like chicken here yeah ???. As you can tell it was a funny afternoon, but I guess its a little easier to understand than being told that you sit on the fat guys knee and tell him what you want for Christmas, and that he will be dressed in a bright red suit so you will know who he is. Many Indonesians that Iv explained this to simply think us westerners are all crazy. Ok moving along, I hope you all enjoyed the little picture at the end of last weeks editorial, with some of you taking the time to send me an email in regards to the same. Unfortunately, I am unable to publish a few of these emails as they have come from un-educated half with who cant handle the heat in the kitchen when the going gets tough. I find it hilarious that a product name that I have clearly offered as a message to a few people that THINK they are doing something well, when in fact they are about as classy and professional as a person who makes crank calls and tries to harass someone with continual calls at strange hours... One email in particular was like reading from a third graders play group, end of year theatre production and completely not worthy of a mention, and just so no-one feels like they have missed out we will be doing out best to get he Delphi distributor to get us a few boxes of these chocolates, and will be giving them away for free to a few expats. The funny thing is we will have a presentation ceremony every time we hand them out and will be publishing these pictures so everyone knows who gets the full four fingers from us and exactly who can, and cant handle it. Id say, for what its worth you’d be surprised who cant. Moving right along and on the subject of decent distributors, we have a new sponsor to the paper who I would like to welcome and that’s "Lotus Food Services" Now, to try and offer a broad based explanation as to what these guys do would be a waste of my time as I would need more than the 48 full colour pages to get through one small part of what they do, how ever I will give you the brief version. You know all those things that you go to Pepitos and buy because you like the imported stuff from home ?? well this is what they supply. The high grade beef that you see when you go to a nice restaurant, this is them. The comprehensive wine list that you get when you go out to the top of the town ? Again this is the crew at Lotus. They have been doing business on the island for a very long time and have a super efficient management team. They can supply anything from orders for the smallest restaurants on the beach, to the most high end establishments. They are ready and waiting to serve you. They deal in kitchen equipment, foods, spices, juice, imported gourmet lines (hence the name of their shop Gourmet Garage). The powers that be at Lotus have agreed to help kick the paper along for a couple of years and I hope that all our readers and sponsors get behind the crew at Lotus for the fresh produce and things they need. They are only a telephone call away. Thanks again to Lotus for and you can check out their advert on page . Welcome to teh family Lotus.

Bali Police Cracking Down on Pet Smuggling from Java P o l i c e i n Ta b a n a n h a v e apprehended people traveling on the road from Gilimanuk to Denpasar caught in the process of trying to smuggle dogs and cats into Bali. It is against Law No. 16 of 1992 on the Quarantine of Animals in Bali that declares any attempt to transport dogs and cats in or out of Bali a crime punishable by up to three years in prison and Rp. 150 million (US$13,000). Animals discovered in the process of transportation to or from Bali are confiscated by quarantine officials who can, at their option,

destroy the animals. The most recent confiscation of animals involved two longhaired Angora kittens, and four dogs comprised of a c h o w - c h o w, t w o s t a n d a r d poodles, a pit bull mix and a local dog from West Java. The animals were discovered during roadside vehicle inspections on the

highway near Kediri. Listed as a suspect in the case is the driver of the vehicle Agus Jaya (42) who told police he was paid RP. 7.5 million (US$650) to drive the animals from West Java to Denpasar. The Bali Post reports that quarantine authorities have determined that the chow chow found in the vehicle had been sent by an individual named Subianto listed as living on Jalan Sukamulya Indah in Bandung, West Java and destined for delivery to a man named Wijaya on Jalan Pantai Sindu 15 in Sanur, Bali. www.balidiscovery.com

Moratorium on New Rooms in Bali Needed to Stop Bali's Decline into a C h e a p Destination Bisnis Bali has published a page-one article examining the impact of Bali's continuing failure to impose a moratorium on new hotel building and curb the growingly critical oversupply of hotel rooms. The secretary of the Indonesia Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Denpasar branch, AA Ngurah Adhi Ardhana, tells of how hotel rooms that once sold for Rp. 300,000 (US$26) a night are now being sold for Rp.

199,000 (US$17.30) a night – all due to the massive oversupply of hotel rooms in Bali. Ardhana blamed the failure by the government to impose a moratorium on new hotel building put forth by Bali's governor as causing the uncontrolled growth in new accommodation, declining occupancy rates and lower room

rates. And while arrivals to Bali have increased from year to year, any increase in visitors has been outstripped by an even faster growth in the number of new rooms coming onto the market. For this reason, Ardhana argues, a moratorium on new hotels in Bali must be quickly and firmly imposed. Ardhana is suggesting that those wishing to invest in hotels in Bali be encouraged to form partnerships with established accommodation providers who lack the capital needed to upgrade and modernize their existing businesses. www.balidiscovery.com

Giving Channel Seven Australia an Aussie Salute Calling on Channel Seven Australia To Give Bali a “Fair Go” in How its Represented to the Australian Public In what could be arguably claimed as “fair warning” – Australia's Channel Seven is busily promoting its new “observationaldocumentary series” titled “What Really Happens in Bali.” Channel Seven is promising a “no-holdsbarred look what really goes down in Australia's favourite tourist destination.” Hyperbole masquerading as “news,” the Channel Seven special promises to take you inside BIMC and Sanglah Hospitals' emergency rooms, show motorbike and surfing mishaps as they happen and even explore the perils of acquiring a sexually transmitted disease while on a Bali holiday. Describing Bali as a “place of adventure, opportunity and non-stop partying” but with a propensity to turn into a “real hell,” Channel Seven's new series introduces viewers to “schoolies experiencing their first taste of freedom, to Bali Fashion Week-wannabes, detoxing celebrities, expats with new business ventures and even the selfconfessed Aussie lothario who claims he's slept with over 100 women in 90 days." The series film team also promises to take viewers inside Kerobokan Prison to visit death row inmates and include footage showing serious accidents “as they happen in Bali.” The Balinese have a decades-long relationship with Australia's Channel Seven coverage of their Island, having come to expect the very worst in biased Indonesian-bashing. What rubbish Channel Seven can't dig up aboutBali, they manufacture or attempt to purchases from convicted felons - as recently witnessed in the case of Schapelle Corby. Channel Seven is a perpetrator of terrible injustices to both Bali and to its gullible Australian viewers by continuing to adopt a sensational and highly-biased approach to its coverage of Bali. If there is a “real story” about Bali to be told you won't hear it on Channel Seven. Based on the hyped-up promotional video now in circulation from Channel Seven promoting their

8

new series, you can be certain that stories of Australians living relatively sedate and normal lives while making m e a n i n g f u l contributions to their adopted Island home won't be shown on Channel Seven.Similarly, if you're looking to learn more about Australian John Fawcett and the life-saving and sight-restoring work done by his foundation; the Australian doctors sharing their surgical skills with Indonesian doctors; the Australians who are funding schools and orphanages across Bali; the heroic work done by Yannie and Nigel Mason to rescue Sumatran elephants; or the work of Mike O'Leary at the ROLE Foundation helping to end the cycle of poverty among the woman of South Bali and restore Bali's damaged ecosystem; and the many other Australians making significant contributions in key areas of Bali's economy - you're not going to see those stories on Channel Seven. The feeling many Australians feel for Bali is genuine. Moved by a genuine affection a great number of unsung Australians heroes live in Bali making a qualitative difference in improving the lives of the Balinese. Admittedly less puerilely titilating in the retelling than an interview with a randy yabbo out to sexually conquer our island, these stories won't likely form a part of Channel Sevens View of “What Really Happens in Bali.” We would lay a personal challenge to Seven West Media Limited, the owners of Channel Seven, and its Chairman Kerry Stokes and CEO Tim Worner to consider raising its games and make the decision to pull the highly misleading coming broadcast of “What Really Happens in Bali.” Or, at the very least, why not give the people of Bali a “fair go” by allowing its recently established Tourism Board equal time to tell their version an entire other side of Australians making a positive impact on “What Really Happens in Bali.” Mr. Stokes and Ms. Worner, we have a story to tell about life in Bali. And, quite clearly, it's not your story. www.balidiscovery.com

Paying More, Getting Less

Lawmakers and Public Complain About Increase Passenger Service Charges at Bali's Airport NusaBali used page one to focus a spotlight on the April 1, 2014 increase in the airport service charge for departing international passengers and further plans to increase the domestic service charge in August. The vice-chairman of Commission I of the Bali Provincial House of Representatives, Gusti Putu Widjera, has called on the managers of Bali's airport – PT Angkasa Pura I to reconsider plans to increase the passenger service charge that he sees as burdensome. Widjera said on Monday, April 7, 2014, “Before PT Angkasa Pura I (PAP) increases the airport tax at Ngurah Rai Airport they should first undertake a study involving academics, the Indonesian Consumer Bureau (YLKI) and local

10

government.” While acknowledging that the decision to increase the cost of the airport service charge rests with PT Angkasa Pura, Widjera said involving the community in such decisions would help to avoid conflicts and polemics. Sounding a similar note was an expert on infrastructure issues, Anak Agung Putu Ngurah Wirawan, who cautioned PAP not to simply do as it pleases as regards increasing the passenger service charge. Wirawan called into question the recent increase in the passenger service charge to Rp. 200,000 (US$17.50) and plans to soon increase the domestic charge to Rp. 75,000 (US$6.50). “It's justified if the charge is increased providing there is also an improvement in the services provided to passengers such as spacious terminals, clean toilets, large waiting rooms, a good public announcement system and clean carpets. But at the present time, there continues to be filthy carpets in waiting rooms, air conditioners that do not cool, and other services that are failing to please the public,” he said. Wirawan said any increase in airport service charge should be

discussed and formulated by all the involved parties and based on the improvement of services. Once an increase in service and fees is agreed, the decision should be socialized to the general public. Wirawan described the decision by PT Angkasa Pura to increase the passenger service charge as “arrogant” and done without any clear parameters. He also bemoaned that fact that the Provincial and Regional governments did not have a shareholding in Bali's airports. This lack of equity means that the people of Bali enjoy no say in the control and operation of Bali's airport including issues such as parking, the selection of small and medium-sized traders to sell at the airport and similar matters. Wirawan Added: “The provincial government of Bali has no representative in the management of the airport. To get permission for the Sarbargita bus system to enter the airport required great struggle. The location of the airport is, after all, in Bali. These mistakes cannot be made again if a new airport is built in North Bali.”

Two terminal illnesses PRETTY Jo Smith faces a heart-breaking ordeal. She is the only person in the world with two rare terminal conditions - and treating one means the other would kill her. HEART-BREAKING: Jo Smith has been diagnosed with two rare terminal illnesses. However, she's remaining positive and scouring the globe for a cure so her son isn't left without a mum. Jo tells us her harrowing story... Jo needs a heart and lung transplant to have any hope of beating the blood vessel disorder pulmonary hypertension (PH) that is destroying her insides. However, doctors say she can't be put on a waiting list for the lifesaving organs because she's also suffering from cancer.

14

The odds of someone suffering both illnesses is an extremely rare five billion to one. Similarly, the radiotherapy that could cure her lymphatic cancer cannot be performed because her weakened lungs and heart would likely fail. But despite the heartbreaking predicament, Jo is remaining positive. "I've never let it impact on my life. But it's becoming impossible now it's starting to effect everything I do," she said. "It's devastating, but I have to deal with it. I have my little son to take care of. He takes my mind off things." PRETTY: The gorgeous mum-of-one is desperate not to leave her son without a mum Jo, of Exeter, Devon, first noticed she was becoming tired and and drained of energy six months after giving birth to son

Rudey in October 2010. She went to the doctors complaining that she was suffering stabbing chest pains and was too exhausted to change nappies, walk up stairs or make the bed. Jo, an English graduate, was diagnosed with PH, an incurable degenerative disease caused by increased blood pressure that narrows or destroys the pulmonary arteries. In severe cases, it damages the right side of the heart, making it increasingly difficult to pump blood and oxygen and leading to eventual heart failure. Devastated Jo was told not to have another child because the stress of pregnancy would likely kill her and the baby. Continue to next page

Kuta Weekly From last page But worse news was to follow in 2011 when a routine scan revealed a huge tumor beside her kidneys. To her horror, Jo was diagnosed a cancer of the lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell that fights infection in the body. Cancer specialists wanted to prescribe her immediate radiotherapy but the specialists treating Jo for PH vetoed the grueling treatment because it could kill her. Instead, she was offered an operation to have the tumor removed by surgeons at London's Hammersmith Hospital, a operation for which she was given a 50/50 chance of survival. After agonizing for a year she had an op but without the radiotherapy she cannot halt the progress of smaller cancers circulating her lymphatic system. "The doctors weren't expecting this and I wasn't expecting to hear this. We hoped the operation would at least have had some sort of positive impact. "But if anything, the impact of such a massive operation made it worse. I didn't want to take any more risks, the operation was enough of a risk. "If it was just me, I may have felt differently, but I'm a mum, I couldn't compromise my survival." S U P P O R T: J o h a s numerous friends to lean on including fundraiser Sarah Lacey. Jo hopes the pioneering therapy can cure her cancer and stop the advancement of the PH without leaving threeyear-old son Rudey without a mum. But with both conditions simultaneously attacking her body her family friends have challenged themselves to raise the ÂŁ30,000 she needs for treatment in just 30 days. And with her life threatened by twin deadly threats, Jo, who ran her own dog walking company before becoming a full-time mum, is desperate to get started. Mercedes criticises Red Bull for 'flagrant breach' of F1 rules in Daniel Ricciardo appeal MERCEDES tore into Formula One rival Red Bull at an appeals court hearing overnight over the disqualification of Daniel Ricciardo at the Australian Grand Prix, saying the team flouted rules and must be put on notice to stop it from becoming a repeat offender. The court said it expected to deliver its ruling by Tuesday night. In its appeal, Red Bull argued that race officials should not have stripped Ricciardo of his second-place finish, and the 18 points that go with it, for breaching F1's new rules on fuel usage. The case represented the first major challenge to this season's sweeping rule changes, which have seen F1 ditch 2.4-liter, V8 engines for smaller 1.6-liter, V6 turbo hybrid engines. The rules are forcing teams to be more fuel efficient, allowing them to burn no more than 100 kilograms per race, about one third less than the V8s. The rules also limit the rate at which fuel is burned to no more than 100 kilograms per hour at any time. Red Bull was accused of consistently overstepping that mark with Ricciardo's RB10 in the seasonopening race on March 16. Governing body FIA told Red Bull during the race that Ricciardo was burning fuel too quickly. The team dialled back the flow for a few laps. But after that slowed Ricciardo, Red Bull then turned his engine back up again. Red Bull argued to motorsport's Paris-based tribunal for resolving disputes, the International Court of Appeal, that the FIA-approved sensor used to measure the delivery of fuel to Ricciardo's car was faulty and so the team relied instead on its own fuel-flow measurements. Red Bull lawyer Ali Malek said Ricciardo's sensor was “obviously unreliable,” his disqualification based on a “flawed and incorrect” interpretation of F1 rules and that the team was perfectly entitled to use its own fuel calculations. He suggested the dispute was partly a teething problem. “We are dealing with new technology, a new problem, and new regulations,” he said. “It is quite plain that these fuel sensors have proved to be problematic.”

16

Mercedes lawyer Paul Harris argued that Red Bull was knowingly in “flagrant breach” of F1 rules. He urged the court to impose an increased but suspended penalty to dissuade the team from any further violations and to keep competition fair. Restoring Ricciardo's fuel flow after the FIA asked the team to turn it down allowed him to go 0.4 seconds per lap faster, Harris claimed. “There is a real risk that they will do it again,” he said. “The most effective way of ensuring that Red Bull do not flout further written and oral instructions from the FIA for at least the remainder of this season is for this court to recognise the severity of their infringement and to impose a further sanction upon them.” Harris said that suspending the penalty for the rest of the season would make Red Bull “acutely aware” that it has no more wriggle-room. Adrian Newey, the designer behind Red Bull's series of championship-winning cars, testified that FIA did warn the team that Ricciardo was using too much fuel, prompting them to turn it down for a few laps because “no team wants to court controversy. It doesn't want to be reported to the stewards.” But “it then became evident that if we continued to comply, despite us not agreeing with that, we would lose positions,” Newey said. The court was shown fuel-use tables which appeared to demonstrate that Red Bull turned down the flow for laps 12-17. Much of the hearing dwelled on the accuracy and reliability of fuel sensors, how engine temperature and other factors might impact the readings, and how their accuracy compares with alternative, computer-generated fuelflow measurements that Red Bull used. Harris said FIA-approved fuel sensors are “rigorously tested and rigorously calibrated,” while Red Bull's alternative system used for Ricciardo is “not 100 percent accurate”. “Red Bull thinks it is entitled to pick and choose between the measurements whenever it suits Red Bull,” Harris said. He also asked: If FIA allows Red Bull not to follow fuel-flow instructions, “then what is to stop a team ignoring the FIA when it comes to other

measurement systems, for instance the weight of the car?” FIA lawyer Jonathan Taylor argued that the “essence” of sport is all competitors abiding by the same rules. “Sport can't take place in the Wild West. You have to have a set of rules that everyone accepts, a set of measurements that everyone accepts. You cannot pick and choose when you want to accept those measurements and when you don't.” Lawyer Paul Harris, acting for Mercedes, argued to the court that Red Bull was in “flagrant breach” of F1 rules. Harris accused Red Bull of knowingly and repeatedly ignoring instructions from FIA official Fabrice Lom to turn down the fuel flow to Ricciardo's engine, because the team did not want to slow down its Australian driver. Harris said FIA-approved sensors that teams are supposed to use to measure their rates of fuel usage are “rigorously tested and rigorously calibrated.” He also argued that Red Bull's own alternative system, which the team used to measure Ricciardo's fuel use, is not “100 per cent” accurate. “Red Bull thinks it is entitled to pick and choose between the measurements,” Harris said. FIA lawyer Jonathan Taylor argued to the court that the “essence” of sport is that all competitors abide by the same rules. “A team cannot pick and choose,” he said. Red Bull confirmed to the court that it initially turned down the fuel flow in Ricciardo's car during the race, because Lom asked the team to do so. But after that affected Ricciardo's performance, slowing him by as much as 0.4 seconds per lap, Red Bull engineers decided to turn the rate of fuel to his engine back up again. Red Bull did that because its engineers decided that the fuel flow sensor in Ricciardo's car was supplying faulty readings and that the team's own measurements were more reliable.

So we've got some really exciting players coming back into the team,'' Goodwin said. “He (Bellchambers) will play in the VFL this week, so we'll get both Paddy and Tommy back in our ruck stocks over the next few weeks. “He has done a really good block of training in the last few weeks and we'll just assess him after this week and see if he's ready for the following week. “Jake (Carlisle) and Joe (Daniher) have had to handle a fair bit of the load and we're looking forward to getting those ruckmen back.”

ESSENDON coach Mark Thompson is the latest victim of a flu bug sweeping through the club. Thompson rested at home today while his assistants supervised a training session at the Bombers' headquarters at Tullamarine. “He's a little bit crook. There has been a bit of a virus going through the club for the last 10 days. He has got it, so he's missing today. I'm sure he'll be back to his joking best in the next couple of days,” assistant coach Simon Goodwin said. “He's keeping away from the team. Pretty much anyone who gets crook we pretty much separate them, (tell them) to stay away from the club, stay away from the team so we can get rid of this bug that has been going through.” Goodwin said between six to eight players had been affected by the flu and gastro, with David Myers a late withdrawal from the team against Fremantle in Perth last Sunday. “You just don't want it to spread any further. It has been a little concern for the group, but nothing much. We're moving forward and looking forward to playing St Kilda,” he said. “It was a little issue, but it certainly didn't affect the way we played. We were happy with some aspects, like the first half, but we dropped

Titans not taking ladder position for granted, says coach Cartwright THE Titans may be sitting pretty at the top of the NRL ladder but they're not taking a finals place for granted — and with good reason. Since the inception of compulsory grand finals in 1954, just six teams have missed the finals after leading through the first six rounds of the season. And the last of them? The Titans in 2008. The club finished in 13th position that season, well outside playoff contention. S o i t ' s understandable coach John Cartwright is taking nothing for granted. “It's way too early to look at the ladder because there's sides that have had probably easier runs than others and home games, away games and all that sort of stuff,'' Cartwright said. “You don't get a good read on the competition probably until you hit the Origin period and it all changes again then, teams are losing their key players and it's a tough period in itself. “It's nice to be where we are but there's a lot in front of us.'' Since the inception of the top eight, the Titans (2008), Cowboys (2006) and Canberra (2005) are the only teams to miss the finals after leading the competition at Round 6. Fox Sports stats also show the Roosters (6th, 1992), Canterbury (7th, 1990) and North Sydney (5th, 1959) missed the finals after leading early in the

season. Cartwright knew it was vital the Titans maintain their winning momentum. “You look at the sides that aren't in the eight at the moment and I'd be very surprised if they're not there at the end of the year,'' he said. “That means that someone in the eight has to make way for them. “It's way too early in the year to look at the table as far as where it's going to finish but you'd certainly rather be there than not.'' After missing the finals for the past three years, the Titans have been rated the surprise packet of the competition having won five of their first six to sit in

outright first place. But Cartwright, who has argued for the past two years his team has not been far off the pace, is not surprised. “There's a struck m a t c h i n ( t h e competition). A lot of it is turning up with the right attitude on the day and we've been able to do that,'' he said. “That's a lot easier to do when you're winning and we'll be tested as the year goes on.'' While captain Nate Myles and forward Mark Minichiello noted a new professionalism on their return from World Cup duties and fullback David Mead said he was simply “sick of losing'', Cartwright said there had been no huge shift in team culture. “The difference is we're winning some tight games,'' he said. “In all honesty we've had a bit of luck but you've got to be there to take advantage of that luck. “There's no one thing the side has gained, it's been a whole lot of small things and a little bit of luck comes into it as well. “We've got some young guys who have played up on 100 games now, so they're getting towards where you're playing your best football; we've got some guys at the back end of their career that really want to go out on a high; and we've got some halves that are really gaining experience every week. “You put all those things together and it's a bit of each, I think.''

Ultimate Warrior's autopsy reveals wrestling star died of a heart attack AN AUTOPSY report has confirmed American pro wrestling icon The Ultimate Warrior died of a massive heart attack. Has been reported the medical examiner who conducted the autopsy concluded there was no foul play in the death of Ultimate Warrior, born James Brian Hellwig, who died suddenly on April 9. No drugs or alcohol were in the star's system at the time. The medical examiner officially classified the death as “Atherosclerotic/Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease”, otherwise known as heart disease. He was reportedly clutching

his chest outside an Arizona hotel at the time of his death. Known for his face paint which appeared to pay homage to warrior cultures like the Maori, Warrior was an icon to pro wrestling fans. “WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn of the passing of one of the most iconic WWE Superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior,” WWE said in a

statement after his death. “Warrior began his WWE career in 1987 and quickly went on to become one of the biggest stars in WWE history. Warrior became WWE Champion at WrestleMania VI, defeating Hulk Hogan in an epic encounter. “We are grateful that just days ago, Warrior had the opportunity to take his rightful place in the WWE Hall of Fame and was also able to appear at WrestleMania 30 and Monday Night Raw to address his legions of fans. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior's family, friends and fans.” Warrior was 54 and is survived by his wife Dana and his

Dale Morris accepts one-match ban for tripping, Lance Franklin, Trent Cotchin, Robert Warnock cleared by Match Review Panel WESTERN Bulldogs defender Dale Morris has accepted a onematch suspension and will miss his side's match against Carlton at Etihad Stadium on Sunday. Morris, who was cited for tripping Greater Western Sydney's Will Hoskin-Elliott on Saturday, accepted the ban after being charged with a level-three tripping offence. The AFL Match Review Panel handed the veteran Bulldog a two-game suspension, but his previous good record ensured he could reduce his ban to one match with an early guilty plea. Richmond captain Trent Cotchin, Collingwood defender

Nick Maxwell, Sydney forward Lance Franklin and Carlton ruckman Robert Warnock are in the clear after video scrutiny of weekend incidents. The AFL match review panel decided neither player had a case to answer. The MRP found that Cotchin's swinging motion to

C o l l i n g w o o d midfielder Clinton Young's midriff in the last quarter last Friday night was insufficient force to be a reportable offence. Maxwell's high contact to Cotchin with a bump in the opening term was also considered not forceful enough to warrant an further action. The panel decided Franklin's late high contact to North Melbourne opponent Scott Thompson wasn't a striking action. And Warnock's high contact to Melbourne ruckman Jake Spencer while the pair grappled in the third quarter was below the force to be reportable.

MELBOURNE Storm captain Cameron Smith last night hailed his side's dramatic after the siren win as the best finish to a game he has been involved in. The Storm star admitted he has never seen an end to a game like that one after leading his side to its fourth win of the season over a devastated St George Illawarra outfit at AAMI Park.. “I think there's been only

one game that compares to that one and that was a few years ago when we beat the Bulldogs after Will Chambers put Sisa Waqa over in the corner,” he said. “This probably beats that one though in terms of how finishes go. “To come back from where we were was a fair effort.”

Cats coach Chris Scott hopeful Andrew Mackie can take on Hawthorn in Monday blockbuster GEELONG utility Billie Smedts faces a number of weeks on the sidelines after it was revealed he has a small crack in his leg. Cats coach Chris Scott said Smedts was originally meant to miss two to three weeks with bone bruising but will now miss up to six weeks with the injury sustained against North Melbourne. It means he is likely to be out for another two to three weeks, according to Scott, as he continues his recovery. Smedts ran gentle laps during this morning's session as his teammates went through their paces. Andrew Mackie was a

notable absentee from the main session as he battles a hamstring complaint. Mackie completed some light run-throughs, along with injured Cat Allen Christensen (back), and Scott hasn't ruled the defender out of Monday's clash with Hawthorn. Meanwhile, there's better news regarding young star Steven Motlop.

Motlop is back running pain-free and has stepped up his training with the view of playing a half against North Ballarat in the VFL on Sunday week. “It's going well, I should be playing in about two weeks,” Motlop said of his recovery from knee surgery on K-Rock. “It's something I had trouble with my whole career and we thought this was the right time to get it fixed. “I think we're being pretty conservative (about an AFL return). We'll probably play a half in the VFL and not rush it. “It's a long season. I haven't really missed a game in the last two seasons, so it's going to be good to just play 15 games and not burn out.”

bridesmaid's hairstyles and hen do arrangements were common. Top of the list were disputes over the bridesmaid dresses, with 61 per cent saying they had a row about the colour, size and shape of their gowns. SAD: A large majority said that their friend getting married made them feel insecure. Of those who had lost contact with one or more of their bridesmaids, 72 per cent said they would like to make amends with the individual, but only if they made the first move towards reconciliation. “They say that hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, and that seems especially true when her wedding is involved," "The results of the study seem to show that even the strongest friendships can be damaged through the stress of organising a wedding, and that perhaps brides should think very carefully before making any major decisions about exactly who can take on such a responsibility as being a bridesmaid.”

FRIENDS: A third of women lose a friend because of an argument about their. Planning hen dos, shopping for flower arrangements and responding to every whim of the blushing bride can be a stressful job for any bridesmaid - and it seems to be taking its toll on the friendships around the UK. Being someone's bridesmaid seems to be the ultimate test of friendship according to a recent study and British women are failing in their droves. A new survey has found that a third of newlywed women lose contact with a bridesmaid after their wedding over resentments and rows linked to them tying the knot. Jealousy, insecurities and financial issues surrounding the big day were disclosed as the most common reasons. JEALOUS: Envy was the main reason brides fell out with their bridesmaids. A sizeable 32 per cent of recently married women said they no longer consider themselves friends with at least one of the women they chose as a bridesmaid. Although weddings are intended to be the happiest day of our lives it seems they are actually surrounded in bickering, ranting and raving between the wedding party. In fact, of the 1,939 women polled, a whopping 73 per cent said they had had an argument with their bridesmaids at some point in the lead up to the wedding. But while most confessed the disputes had been of a petty nature and were resolved quickly a third said they had actually parted ways after the wedding and were no longer friends. Jealously was the main reason for this, with 38 per cent of brides saying they had argued and consequently stopped speaking to their former bridesmaid because she had become jealous about her big day. Another reason women argued was because of insecurities with regards to appearance and 11 per cent of them said it had been money-related. When it comes to minor arguments, things like

Treatment for 50 orgasms a day WAS IT GOOD FOR YOU? Amanda Gryce is in a constant state of sexual arousal - but can't have sex with boyfriend Stuart. Amanda Gryce has 50 orgasms a day without ever having sex with her boyfriend. The 24-year-old suffers with a rare condition which has kept her sexually aroused for 18 years. Now desperate Amanda is finally undergoing medical treatment to try to cure her Persistent Genital Arousal Disorder, which she says has blighted her life. H o w e v e r, u n d e r doctors' orders Amanda and boyfriend Stuart Triplett, 22, must abstain from any sexual contact. Amanda said: “It's something that I've been living with since I was about six. “Different kinds of things that can trigger my PGAD are vibrations, riding in cars and riding with a loud bass. “It can happen anywhere and sometimes I'll have five back to back. “It's not pleasurable it has become like torture.” Seven months ago Amanda met restaurant worker Stuart on a dating website and fell in love. And despite previously using sex as a way to handle her symptoms, she has now been instructed by doctors to stay celibate. Amanda with boyfriend Stuar. She said: “It was difficult at first to come out about my disorder to Stuart. “I wasn't sure when was the right time or how he was going to react. "But he's so supportive, he

30

completely understands and he is just my rock. “Stuart's really been holding me back as far as the intimacy goes - he actually has to remind me we're not allowed to do anything.” For years Amanda suffered in silence, too ashamed to tell friends or even family. "I can have 50 orgasms in one day and five or 10 within an hour of each other," she said. "It happens when I'm with my friends or out in public and it's very embarrassing.

"It kills me inside. I just have to put on a smile and pretend that nothing's wrong." And she battled doctors who didn't understand PGAD or how to treat it. She said: “Since last year I've been on a quest to find out more about this condition. “ I t ' s b e e n o n e disappointment after another thanks to the reluctance of some doctors to see this as a valid condition.” But after making contact with pelvic pain expert Dr Robert Echenberg, Amanda hopes she has found a way to control her orgasms. “After seeing Dr Echenberg I found there are things which can reduce the intensity of the

orgasms - even though they are still constant," she said. “I take medication to numb the areas and do exercise to try to take me mind of it. “Taking control over the disorder rather then it controlling me is a dream come true." Doctors have advised Amanda to try stretching exercises to control her orgasms. Recently Amanda visited physical therapist Gina Parsonis in C l e a r w a t e r, F l o r i d a , w h o examined how her body reacts to the condition. She performs stretching exercises and yoga moves to keep her "tics" or episodes under control. Now Amanda and Stuart hope to move in together and plan their future together. Stuart said: “I suppose you could say it was love at first sight with Amanda. “Dealing with her symptoms at first was kind of a challenge because I didn't quite know how to approach it the right way. Amanda is taking medication to numb her pelvic area in an attempt to handle her condition. "As far as the sex ban goes, it was kind of hard to cope with but then I realised that it's important to her health that she doesn't do this so I've been able to abstain as well as her. “I'll continue to do whatever I can to support her." Amanda added: “This past year has been amazing. “Meeting Stuart and Dr Echenberg, I finally feel like I'm going to have a more normal life and eventually a positive sex life."

Condition that make her smell of fish A WOMAN is forced to cover herself with perfume on a daily basis because of a rare condition that means she smells like ROTTEN EGGS and FISH. R ARE CONDITION: Ellie James has had to cope with smelling like rotten eggs and fish for 14 years [SUNDAY MIRROR] Ellie James has suffered from Trimethylaminuria (TMAU) for 14 years, a condition that makes her smell of foul odours and led her to take FIVE baths every single day to rid herself of the stink. And to make things worse for the company director from Abingdon, Oxfordshire, there is no cure. One of just a handful of Brits suffering from the unfortunate condition, Ellie admits the whole thing is "soul-destroying." The 44-year-old revealed: "At first I didn't ¬understand what was wrong. I'd always had impeccable hygiene. "The smell was a complete mystery. I wondered if my cat had brought in a mouse and left it to rot. "But I slowly realised it was me when strangers began to stare

at me while holding their noses. I heard people whispering about me in the office... "Once a driver actually installed an air freshener on the bus I use and a passenger said it was my fault. It was souldestroying." STENCH: Ellie's body gives off the smell after eating certain foods. Ellie said that people continously bought her perfume at Christmas, and a Secret Santa present of soap from her work colleagues caused her to flee the office in embarrassment after they

all laughed at her. She has even been dubbed 'Smelly Ellie' and had body spray posted through her letterbox. TMAU is also known as 'fish-odour syndrome' and after being diagnosed at 30, she now has to avoid meat, dairy, coffe and fish because they trigger the putrid odour. After scrubbing her skin with KITCHEN DETERGENT to try and remove the smell, Ellie was eventually given a new diet plan and prescribed antiobiotics. She also uses a special pH-balanced soap as normal soap only made the smell worse. After 14 years living with the condition, Ellie now explains the condition to anyone who notices the smell coming from her body. She has also managed to find love with loyal boyfriend Dan, who said "Ellie is a lovely person and that's all that matters." TMAU means body cannot properly break down the trimethylamine found in certain foods and the fishy odour comes out in sweat, urine, and breath.

Police investigate love triangle rat attack

How do you get the attention of a girl who has everything including your boyfriend?

One woman seeking revenge on a romantic rival smashed the windows of her South Philadelphia home and dumped a box of live white rats

inside, police said. "I'd have to say this is a first," Officer Christine O'Brien said. In a longrunning dispute over a man, the jealous lover and about eight other women friends used a baseball bat to break the glass and toss the rodents inside at about 11 p.m. one night in the Grays Ferry neighbourhood, Philadelphia police said. The gang also punched the 30-year-old victim, inflicting cuts and bruises, and stole her purse containing identification and about $200, police said. The victim was able to identify at least one of the attackers, who fled in a Chevy Lumina.

"Upside Down" Who's to say What's impossible Well they forgot This world keeps spinning And with each new day I can feel a change in everything And as the surface breaks reflections fade But in some ways they remain the same And as my mind begins to spread its wings There's no stopping curiosity I want to turn the whole thing upside down I'll find the things they say just can't be found I'll share this love I find with everyone We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs I don't want this feeling to go away Who's to say I can't do everything Well I can try And as I roll along I begin to find Things aren't always just what they seem I want to turn the whole thing upside down I'll find the things they say just can't be found I'll share this love I find with everyone We'll sing and dance to Mother Nature's songs This world keeps spinning and there's no time to waste Well it all keeps spinning spinning round and round and Upside down Who's to say what's impossible and can't be found I don't want this feeling to go away Please don't go away Please don't go away Please don't go away Is this how it's supposed to be Is this how it's supposed to be

Aries Mar 21 - Apr 20 If human beings were simple and straightforward beings, how dull would we be? Think of excitement that accompanies new relationships. Consider the joy of discovering common bonds within friendships. With those we are close to, we are always experiencing a learning curve. This week brings a powerful total lunar eclipse in your opposite sign. This has significant implications in terms of what you're about to discover regarding partnerships, and probably one in particular. A weakness is about to be weeded out but with this will come much needed discovery and freedom. Taurus Apr 21 - May 21 Many people adhere to a 'tell others what they need to know on a need-toknow basis' policy. Does that make them secretive or deceitful? Much depends on how much they have others' interests at heart by not disclosing certain information, especially if information is more hurtful or harmful than it is helpful. On the other hand, we tend to prefer to be 'in the know' than 'kept in the dark'. This week's lunar eclipse intends to pull no punches when it comes to bringing something concealed into the open. This is a positive development that you'll undoubtedly be grateful for. Gemini May 22 - Jun 22 When we're in the company of those we spend the most time with, it doesn't take us long to believe that we know them well or perhaps better than anyone else. We learn how to 'read' certain people and draw conclusions about aspects of their personalities and what we know to be happening in their worlds. We can't, however, know all there is to know about those closest to us and the powerful lunar eclipse taking place this week intends to highlight something you didn't know about someone close to you. A revelation will dictate a way forward you've long wanted. Cancer Jun 23 - Jul 23 As the one sign ruled by the Moon, this week's full moon eclipse won't go unnoticed by you particularly. It might take beyond this week before you feel its effects but given that it's aimed squarely at your home and family sector, something is brewing with regard to your home, with whom you share it and through lunar eclipses being female by nature, your mother or motherly figure. It's important you recognize futility surrounding trying to reverse a domestic decision or dictating terms. Emotions will likely be running high but the outcome is undoubtedly positive. Leo Jun 24 - Aug 23 When we're involved in any kind of negotiation or trying to reach an agreement with a certain person, we're aware of our idea of a 'desirable outcome'. If agreement isn't reached immediately and need exists to try to reach some kind or settlement, then we become aware of how desired outcomes differ on the part of each person involved. This week's lunar eclipse intends to cause disruption to a negotiation process. If a line of discussion goes off on a tangent, try to see the benefit of starting again. What gets reintroduced or restarted will inevitably be stronger. Virgo Aug 24 - Sep 23 People sometimes say 'money is the root of all evil'. We know this is far from true and if more people were aware that the correct saying is 'the love of money is the root of all evil' then money itself might not get such bad press sometimes. This week's full moon lunar eclipse falls in your second house of salary and earned income. This strongly implies a need to be aware of a change in a seemingly financially stable situation likely to require you to reassess your fiscal position. The financial hurdle you're likely to be presented with is but part of a much bigger picture. Focus on that, the solution available and not just the monetary side of it.

Eye & Lips Liner

Libra Sep 24 - Oct 23 Are you feeling undervalued? Overworked and underpaid? Unfulfilled? If the answers to any of those questions is 'yes', then that's good news. Even if you don't believe such questions apply to you, this week's full moon lunar eclipse in your sign intends to focus on how you're seen by others and appreciate your talents and strengths. You might believe yourself to be fully in tune with each but wait and see what the eclipse brings to light. It's time to think about where you want to be, with whom and how you're going to do it. Prepare for change of the most exciting variety. Scorpio Oct 24 - Nov 22 Many of the most wonderful solutions don't jump out at us and beg for our attention. They wait subtly and often patiently for us to recognize them. Sometimes, it can take a considerable amount of time before we do recognize them and then we find ourselves wondering why we were so oblivious to the obvious. This week's full moon lunar eclipse is a powerful one. It intends to bring to the surface something that has been hidden or concealed but it doesn't intend to provide or highlight only a problem. It also wants to help highlight a solution. Push aside pride and focus on what is clearly the best solution available to what comes to light. Sagittarius Nov 23 - Dec 21 The term 'fair weather friend' isn't difficult to define and this week's full moon lunar eclipse brings a development surrounding friends and acquaintances and, in particular, how you have for some time had a different set of expectations regarding your connection with certain others. A surprise is in store regarding something you believed to be set in stone or an arrangement with a certain person you felt was unshakable or immovable. It appears they have other ideas and what comes to light, although confusing to begin with, can serve to strengthen one association ultimately. Capricorn Dec 22 - Jan 20 Many astrology books and websites portray Capricorns as individuals who thrive on confirming, predictability and routine. As one of the most cautious signs, you do recognize benefits surrounding knowing where you stand and can use predictability to your advantage in ways others cannot. That doesn't mean you don't get bored, though. Neither does it mean you're always determined to stick with something that no longer inspires or motivates you. This week's lunar eclipse has plans to remove you from a tired arrangement that has had its day. This is cause for celebration, not consolation. Aquarius Jan 21 - Feb 19 This week's full moon lunar eclipse takes place, from a Sun Sign perspective, in the area of your chart associated with long-distance travel, education, legal matters, publishing and broadcasting ventures as well as immigration issues. Ancient astrologers referred to this sector as 'broadening of the mind' and every Aquarian will have their own story to tell about how the eclipse plays a part in one or more of the above areas but be assured that something is brewing in at least one that will demand your attention. Studying, learning or your connections with people from afar could feature prominently. Just let proverbial dust settle before making any decisions or judgments. Pisces Feb 20 - Mar 20 It's interesting how a particular sector in a horoscope chart that focuses on what we own, owe or share with others includes money, albeit money we gain or have access to that doesn't include earnings. Tax. Inheritance. Alimony. It refers to that sort of money we are grateful to receive but it also governs money painful to part with. This week's lunar eclipse focuses on a likely drain to your fiscal resources and whilst this might not be a complete surprise, you will undoubtedly be feeling the pinch. Don't focus on the seemingly negative aspect of this. You're effectively buying freedom in some way. That is definitely something to be embraced and celebrated.

Jack Johnson was born and raised on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii. The son of well-known surfer Jeff Johnson, he took an interest in his father's profession. Jack began to learn how to surf at the age of 5. At 17, he became the youngest invitee to make the surfing finals at the Pipeline Masters on Oahu's North Shore. One week later, however, his stint as a professional surfer ended when he suffered a surfing accident at the Pipeline that put more than 150 stitches in his forehead and removed a few of his teeth; this later became the inspiration for the song "Drink the Water". Jack Johnson graduated from Kahuku High School on the North Shore of Oahu. He would later attend the University of California, Santa Barbara, and graduated with a degree in film and music production. While Johnson learned the guitar at the age of 8 and started songwriting at the age of 12, his passion for music grew when he played rhythm guitar for the band Soil (not to be confused with the heavy metal band of the same name) in college. Johnson credits his songwriting influences as Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Radiohead, Otis Redding, G. Love and Special Sauce, Ben Harper, Sublime, The Beatles,Bob Marley, Neil Young, and A Tribe Called Quest. Johnson names Jimi Hendrix as his all-time favorite guitarist. Jack Johnson's big break was writing and contributing vocals for the song "Rodeo Clowns" which was featured on G. Love's 1999 album Philadelphonic. The song would later become the most famous single of the album. In addition to his later success as a musician, Johnson is also an accomplished filmmaker. Johnson directed the surf films Thicker Than Water (2000) and The September Sessions (2002), in which he also starred. Both movie soundtracks were also products of Johnson. Johnson also starred in the 2004 surf film A Brokedown Melody. Johnson released a four track demo that caught the attention of Ben Harper's producer, J. P. Plunier, who worked with Johnson on his debut album Brushfire Fairytales in early 2001 with Harper and his Weissenborn lap steel guitar making a guest appearance. Brushfire Fairytales was released on February 1, 2001. Johnson went back into the studio with Adam Topol (drums, percussion) and Merlo Podlewski (bass), who played on Brushfire Fairytales, and Mario Caldato Jr on production duties, to record his second full-length album On and On. It was the first album to be recorded at Johnson's Mango Tree S t u d i o i n Johnson's home town of North Shore, Oahu, and the first to be released through The Moonshine Conspiracy Records. On and On was released on May 6, 2003.

On July 22, 2000, Johnson married his college sweetheart Kim. They have three children, two boys and a girl. Johnson lives on the North Shore of the island ofOahu in Hawaii. In an interview with Johnson, Ann Donahue from Billboard described Johnson's family life by saying “There is often trouble in balancing the life of an artist, environmentalist, and family man, but Johnson seems to have the niche for such a challenge. This time around, he's found a pace that agrees with him…bringing his family along so he can spend mornings with them sightseeing.” Both Johnson and his wife refuse to talk about or release any intimate information concerning their children.

D espite

many centuries of i n t e n s i v e agriculture, Bali remains rich in plants and wildlife. At least 282 bird species have been recorded from the island, of which about 150 are relatively common. The best known species, the Bali Starling or Rothschild's Mynah, occurs only in one small area of West Bali. In spite of intense, albeit belated, government conservation efforts, Bali's national bird is facing imminent extinction in the wild. However, a private last-ditch innitiative by a dedicated Balinese veterinarian to establish a breeding population on the small island of Nusa Penida may yet prove successful. Bali's only endemic mammal, the Bali Tiger, became extinct in the 1930s. Almost 14% of Bali (mostly in the West of the island) is designated as a National Park, intended as a wildlife refuge and secure from

human intervention. Very few facilities are provided for visitors wishing to enter the West Bali National Park (Taman Nasional Bali Barat). Unfortunately, the park is coming under increasing threat from developers and from migrant worker camps. Mammals in the West Bali National Park include muntjak, banteng, chevrotain, pangolin, cuscus, slow loris, wild pig, black panther, macaque and leaf monkeys. The waters around Menjangan Island, also within the park boundary, support five species of marine turtle as well as dolphin and dugong. A private program to save the highly threatened turtle population has been developed in the village of Pemuteran on the NorthWest coast This has proved very successful, and is serving as a model for other conservation programs elsewhere in Bali.

John was staring sadly into his beer and sighed heavily. “What's up John?” asked the bartender… It's not like you to be so down in the mouth.” “It's my five year old son…” the man replied. “Don't tell me, he's in trouble for fighting in school? My lad's just the same – forget about it; it happens to boys that age,” said the bartender, sympathetically. “ I only wish it was that,” continued the customer, “ but it's far worse than that. The little devil has got our gorgeous 20 year old next door neighbour pregnant.” “Get away, that's impossible!” gasped the bartender. “It's not,” said the man. "The little bugger stuck a pin in all my condoms.”

I was at the bar the other night and overheard three very hefty women talking. Their accent appeared to be Scottish, so I approached and asked, "Hello, are you three lassies from Scotland ?" One of them angrily screeched, "It's Wales , Wales you bloody idiot!" So I apologized and replied, "I am so sorry. Are you three whales from Scotland ?" And that's the last thing I remember And that's the last thing I remember

A man walked out to the street and caught a taxi just going by. He got into the taxi, and the cabbie said, "Perfect timing. You're just like Brian." Passenger: "Who?" Cabbie: "Brian. He's a guy who did everything right all the time. Like my coming along when you needed a cab, things happen like that to Brian, every single time." Passenger: "There are always a few clouds over everybody." Cabbie: "Not Brian. He was a terrific athlete. He could have won the Grand Slam at tennis. He could golf with the pros. He sang like an opera baritone and danced like a Broadway star and you should have heard him play the piano. He was an amazing guy." Passenger: "Sounds like he was something really special." Cabbie: "There's more. He had a memory like a computer. He remembered everybody's birthday. He knew all about wine, which foods to order and which fork to eat them with. He could fix anything. Not like me. I change a fuse, and the whole street blacks out. But Brian, he could do everything right." Passenger: "Wow. Some guy then."

Miracle According to the Bible, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, in Palestine, a country where people are called Mohammed, Abdel, Mounir, Aziz, Ahmed, Farid, Omar, Youssouf, Mouloud, etc And this dude managed to find 12 buddies called John, Peter, Paul, Phillip, Mark, Thomas, Luke, Mathew, Andrew and Simon .... who all drank wine !!! That's what I call a miracle!

Cabbie: "He always knew the quickest way to go in traffic and avoid traffic jams. Not like me, I always seem to get stuck in them. But Brian, he never made a mistake, and he really knew how to treat a woman and make her feel good. He would never answer her back even if she was in the wrong; and his clothing was always immaculate, shoes highly polished too. He was the perfect man! He never made a mistake. No one could ever measure up to Brian ....."

Buttercups and Golf balls... Towards the end of the golf course, Tom hit his ball into the woods and found it in a patch of pretty yellow buttercups. Trying to get his ball back in play, he ended up thrashing just about every buttercup in the patch.. All of a sudden . . .. POOF!! In a flash and puff of smoke, a little old woman appeared. She said, "I'm Mother Nature!" "Do you know how long it took me to make those buttercups?" Just for doing what you have done, you won't have any butter for your popcorn for the rest of your life; better still, you won't have any butter for your toast for the rest of your life .. As a matter of fact, you'll never have any butter for anything the rest of your life!" Then POOF! . . . she was gone! After Tom recovered from the shock, he hollered for his friend, "Fred, where are you?" Fred yells back, "I'm over here in the pussy willows." Tom shouts back, 'DON'T SWING, Fred; FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, DON'T SWING!'

Two Irishmen looking through a mail order catalogue. Paddy says "Look at these gorgeous women! The prices are reasonable too." Mick agrees "I'm ordering one right now" 3 weeks later Paddy says to Mick "Has your woman turned up yet?" "No" said Mick "but it shouldn't be long now though. Her clothes arrived yesterday!!

Passenger: "An amazing fellow. How did you meet him?" Cabbie: "Well, I never actually met Brian. He died. I'm married to his f***ing widow."

This structure is a regularly practiced procedure in Indonesia, whereby the foreigner nominates and Indonesian representative to acquire the land and to hold the 'freehold' title (Hak Milik) on behalf of the foreigner. Ownership of the land is transferred from the previous owner to the Indonesian nominee. The foreigner and the Indonesian nominee then sign an agreement which recognizes the Indonesian nominee as the legal owner of the property whilst declaring the foreigner as the rightful owner of the property. This agreement denotes that the Indonesian nominee will carry out any directives from the foreigner regarding the land. This agreement must always be concluded in the presence of a public notary.

Housewives can't trust their filthy men UK men need to scrub up! A new study has found that house-proud British women despair of their partners' cleaning skills... CLEAN: Women don't trust their partners to do the housework properly. "If you want something doing, do it yourself," so the saying goes. And that's what houseproud British women are doing. A new report, by cleaning product manufacturer Karcher, has found that 52 per cent of housewives don't want to let their hubbies near the washing up, vaccuming and cleaning the bathroom. The study, which surveyed 2,000 women, found that 65 per cent of housewives admit to redoing the job straight after their husbands. Men's biggest cleaning crimes? Dusting around objects rather than under them, squashing rubbish further into the bin rather than taking it out and wiping crumbs on to the floor rather than the bin. SCRUB UP: Men need to clean up their act if they want to impress their wives. No wonder 60 per cent of ladies would prefer the cleaning was left entirely up to them and that the men help out in other ways around the house. Homeowners in London are keeping up appearances, with a huge 95 per cent describe themselves house-proud. While Scotland is home to the UK's most prolific cleaners with a third of housewives declaring they tidy daily. But 90 per cent of women described themselves as very house-proud and more than half admitted that they strongly judge other people on their home's cleanliness. TV interior design expert Naomi Cleaver, of DIY SOS and Other People's Houses, feels for women and think men need to scrub up their skills. "As an interior designer, a home's appearance is very important to me and I understand how house-proud people are. "I'm not surprised to learn more than half of women judge people on the cleanliness of their homes."

Men, you have been warned. TOP 10 CLEANING AREAS MEN WHERE NEED TO SCRUB UP 1. Dusting round objects instead of lifting them 2. Wiping crumbs on the floor instead of the bin 3. Failing to wash food off dishes properly 4. Pushing rubbish further into the bin instead of emptying it 5. Just rinsing the shower or bath instead of scrubbing it 6. Leaving smears on windows or mirrors 7. Placing coloured clothes in with whites 8. Squirting bleach down the toilet instead of cleaning it 9. Not putting recycling in the recycle bin 10. Picking bits off the floor instead of hoovering.
