Polina Kundirenko, Ukraine

Polina Kundirenko, geboren 1997, studiert Filmregie an der Filmuniversität Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, arbeitet aber auch an Kurzfilmen. Zuvor schloss sie ihr Studium an der Nationalen Taras-Schewtschenko-Universität in Kyjiw mit einem BA in Philosopie ab. Ihr Hauptinteresse gilt dem fiktionalen Film, vor allem dem surrealistischen Kino. Sie arbeitete für das Molodist Festival Kyiv und war Mitglied der ökumenischen Jury im Jahr 2020.

Polina Kundirenko, born in 1997, is studying film directing at Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF, while also working on short movies. Previously she graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv with a BA in Philosophy. Her main area of interest is fiction movies, predominantly surrealist cinema. She worked for Molodist Festival Kyiv and was a member of the ecumenical jury in 2020.

Christian Gürtler, Deutschland Germany

Christian Gürtler, geboren 1993, ist Medienwissenschaftler an der christlichen Publizistik der FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg. Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte sind: Social Media im Spannungsfeld Medienethik, Spiel- und Medienpädagogik und kulturelle Bildung. Er ist zudem examinierter Theaterpädagoge und leitet zwei Theatergruppen an einem deutschen Gymnasium. Freischaffend erstellt er Video und Foto Content für Kultureinrichtungen und universitäre Projekte auf Sozialen Medien. Er ist Mitglied von INTERFILM.

Christian Gürtler, born in 1993, is a media scientist at the Christian Journalism Department of FAU Erlangen-Nuremberg. His research interests are social media in the field of media ethics, play and media pedagogy and cultural education. He is also a certified theatre pedagogue, and leads two theatre groups at a German high school. As a freelancer, he creates video and photo content for cultural institutions and university projects on social media. He is a member of INTERFILM.

Christian Murer, Schweiz Switzerland

Christian Murer legte nach einer Lehre als Schriftsetzer die Matura Kantonsschule Alpenquai Luzern ab. Er studierte Theologie in Chur und München und Medienpädagogik in München. Er absolvierte das Reallehrerseminar in Zürich und arbeitete als Reallehrer im Schulhaus Moosmatt in Urdorf. Christian Murer war Filmjournalist bei der Zoom-Filmberater und ist Fotograf und Journalist bei CH Media. Er arbeitete mehrere Male in der Ökumenischen Jury mit.

After an education as a typesetter, Christian Murer passed the Matura at the Alpenquai Cantonal School in Lucerne. He studied theology in Chur and Munich and media education in Munich. He graduated from the Reallehrerseminar in Zurich and worked as a schoolteacher at the Moosmatt school in Urdorf. Christian Murer was a film journalist at ZoomFilmberater and is a photographer and journalist at CH Media. He has served several times on the ecumenical jury.

Eren Aksu, Deutschland Germany

Eren Aksu wurde 1987 in Istanbul geboren und ist Regisseur. Er studierte Film in Istanbul und Kunst und Medien an der Universität der Künste Berlin. Seine Filme wurden bei den Kurzfilmtagen Oberhausen, dem Sarajevo Film Festival und anderen internationalen Filmfestivals gezeigt. Sein neuester Film

Eren Aksu was born in Istanbul in 1987 and is a Director. He studied Film in Istanbul and Arts and Media at the University of Arts Berlin. His films have been screened at the Short Film Festival Oberhausen, Sarajevo Film Festival and other international film festivals. His latest film Other Than That, I’m Fine won the 3sat-Promotional Award at the Short Film Festival Oberhausen.

Anne Bitterwolf, Deutschland Germany

Anne Bitterwolf studierte Neuere deutsche Literatur, Kunstgeschichte, Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaften in Berlin und Neapel. Seit 2013 ist sie Kuratorin für Videokunst an der Berlinischen Galerie. Kooperationen mit Festivals wie Creamcake oder Videoart at Midnight. Kuratorische Mitarbeit an zahlreichen Ausstellungen und Publikationen, u. a. von Nina Canell, Monica Bonvicini, Carsten Nicolai, Raphaela Vogel. 2016 Gastkritikerin bei Residency Unlimited, New York. Lehrbeauftragte an der Humboldt Universität, Berlin.

Anne Bitterwolf Studied modern German literature, art history, journalism and communications in Berlin and Naples. Since 2013, curator for video art at the Berlinische Galerie. Cooperation with festivals such as Creamcake and Videoart at Midnight. Istvan Gyöngyösi, Deutschland Germany

Istvan Gyöngyösi ist Kurator, Autor und Filmemacher. Er lebt und arbeitet in Berlin. Studium der Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaft und Germanistik in Salzburg. Programmarbeit u. a. für Zeitfluss-Festival Salzburg, Sommerszene Salzburg, Diagonale Graz, Donaufestival Krems, Woche der Kritik Berlin. Redaktionsmitglied bei Revolver, Zeitschrift für Film. Istvan Gyöngyösi is curator, author and filmmaker. He lives and works in Berlin. Studied journalism, communications and German studies in Salzburg. Programme work for the Zeitfluss-Festival Salzburg, Sommerszene Salzburg, Diagonale Graz, Donaufestival Krems, Berlin Critics’ Week, among others. Birgit Hauska, Deutschland Germany

Birgit Hauska ist Kuratorin in den Kontexten Kurzfilm und Medienkunstvermittlung. Sie initiierte in den 1990er-Jahren die Tanzfilmsammlung für das Deutsche Tanzarchiv. Bis 2004 arbeitete sie in internationalen Programmbeiräten und Wettbewerben für Tanz in den Medien mit. 2003–04 war sie CoKuration von tanzmedial. Heute leitet sie die Medienkunstvermittlung der SK Stiftung Kultur in Köln. Die Ergebnisse wurden zuletzt mit dem Team-Award des Deutschen Generationenfilmpreis 2022 ausgezeichnet.

Birgit Hauska is a curator in the contexts of short film and media art education. In the 1990s, she initiated the dance film collection for the German Dance Archive. Until 2004, she worked on international programme advisory boards and at competitions for dance in media. 2003–04 she was co-curator for tanzmedial. Today she head the media art education programme at the SK Stiftung Kultur in Cologne. The Results recently received the Team Award of the German Generations Film Award 2022.

Hilde Hoffmann, Deutschland Germany

Hilde Hoffmann ist Medienwissenschaftlerin. Sie lehrt und forscht am Institut für Medienwissenschaft, Ruhr-Universität Bochum. Freie Tätigkeiten im Filmfestival-, Kunst- und Kulturbereich. Sie war Gastprofessorin an der University of Minnesota, USA und der Universität Wien, Österreich. Arbeitsschwerpunkte: Visuelle Kultur und Film/AV-Medien, Medien und Geschichte/Gedächtnis, Rassismus, Antiziganismus und Postkoloniale Theorie.

Hilde Hoffmann is a media scientist. She teaches and researches at the Institute for Media Studies, Ruhr University Bochum. Does freelance work in the areas of film festivals, art and culture. She has been a visiting professor at the University of Minnesota, USA and the University of Vienna, Austria. Main fields of work: Visual culture and film/AV media, media and history/memory, racism, antiziganism, and postcolonial theory.

Dirk Steinkühler, Deutschland Germany

Dirk Steinkühler wurde 1969 in Bielefeld geboren. Gelernter Buchhändler, Studium der Film- und Fernsehwissenschaften, Theaterwissenschaften und Publizistik in Bochum, Magisterabschluss zum Thema Titelsequenzen. Seit 2004 Geschäftsführer der Filmpalette Köln, seit 2021 im Filmhaus Kino Köln. Seit 2006 zudem Organisation und Leitung diverser Projekte u. a. Stranger Than Fiction, Kino Latino Köln. Seit 2015 im Vorstand von KINOaktiv, dem Zusammenschluss der Freien Kölner Filmszene.

Dirk Steinkühler was born in Bielefeld in 1969. Qualified book dealer, film and television, theatre and journalism studies in Bochum, master’s degree on title sequences. Since 2004, managing director of the Filmpalette cinema in Cologne, since 2021 of Filmhaus Kino Köln. Since 2006, organisation and management of various projects such as Stranger Than Fiction, Kino Latino Köln. Since 2015 on the board of KINOaktiv, representing the independent film scene in Cologne.
