He has long dreamed of creating this enthralling collection of fairy tales, in which text and 175 large colour illustrations combine to wonderful effect. Peter Madsen (born 1958) is an illustrator, author, filmmaker and lecturer. His first illustrations were published when he was just 15. Peter is best known for the Valhalla comic book series but he has illustrated a large range of books, often with mythological, fairy-tale, and spiritual themes. He has received prestigious domestic and foreign awards for his work throughout his career.
