Designed by Jean de Chelles , Notre Dame is one of the world’s most renowned religious buildings. Although the majority of the design process is credited to be the work of De Chelles, numerous architects have contributed to the characterisations of the building over the years. Following a fire in 2019, the landmark is currently undergoing restoration and is due to be completed in 2024.
