richest burnt-offering graves in Uppland, the combination of falcon and crane has been observed; this is considered to be the most distinguished form of hunting. The forested Swedish landscape is often unsuitable for hunting with falcons. People in Scandinavia did more hunting with hawks, since hawks can move freely in forests. The Year of 2012. Alive and in Dialogue with the Surrounding World

Our aim is to make Kulturen the museum with the most life, serving as an example when it comes to making people feel that they are a part of it. In 2012 the focus was on cultural heritage management. Thanks to funding from the Municipality of Lund we have been able to fix the roofs of the Burgher's House and the Nobleman's House. The fa<;ade of the Nobleman's House has been replastered, and restoration continues with the installation of a lift for improved accessibility. The fifty-year-old ceramic exhibition in the Nobleman's House has been dismantled and the artefacts have been cleaned and transported to storage. The new exhibition, Kulturen and the World, is expected to be completed in 2014.

The exhibition built on the material we acquired in the form of personal narratives and artefacts. On Facebook there was continuous discussion of the exhibition, which helped to make our work transparent. Popstad also told of how young people made music in the 1970s to 1990s, which served as a starting point for educational work in the museum. The aim was to boost the initiative and self-confidence of today's young people, raising questions about crucial matters such as democracy and equality. In our other major exhibition, Happy Birthday, Alfans Aberg, we also had a lot of activities for children and young people.

From May to August there were activities every day under the heading "Summer Days". The summer's traditional Midsummer festivities were arranged and the
