Media Information PRESS SERVICES Weekly press releases, including updated individual and team stats, performance sheets, as well as information on upcoming meets will be made available two days prior to the team’s next meet. The releases are available in PDF format via email. To be included on the e-mail list, please contact Brad Gilbert at brgilbert@ku.edu. The releases will also be available on the KU Athletics web site in PDF format.

COVERING INDOOR EVENTS All home indoor meets will be held in Anschutz Sports Pavilion, located west of Allen Fieldhouse at the corner of Naismith Drive and Irving Hill Road on the KU campus. Parking is available north of Anschutz Pavilion. For meets held on weekdays it is suggested you park in the parking garage to the northeast of Anschutz Pavilion. Media credentials are not required as indoor meets are free and open to the public.

HISTORY

INTERVIEWS All interviews with student-athletes and coaches should be arranged through communications contact Brad Gilbert (785-864-7788). Please give at least 24 hours notice. Phone interviews will be done on a call-back basis only when convenient to the athlete or coach. Student-athletes will be made available to media 30 minutes following their event’s completion and can be found at the media mix zone provided at the meet. Please contact Brad Gilbert to organize the time and location of the interview if no formal media mix zone is available. Head coach Stanley Redwine will be available following completion of the meet. To request an interview contact Brad Gilbert. Phone interviews will also be permissible following home meets and will be conducted on a call-back basis for all student-athletes and coaches. Please call or email Brad Gilbert at least 12 hours prior to request post-meet interviews.

KANSAS RELAYS The Kansas Relays will take place April 19-22. The cost to attend the Relays is $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors with ID. Any media interested in covering the Relays will need to request a credential. To request a credential, contact Brad Gilbert by telephone at 785-864-7788 or by email at brgilbert@ku.edu. Credential requests must be submitted by April 16, 2017. VIDEO AND PHOTO AVAILABILITY To assist in your coverage of the Jayhawks, extra content (audio, video, photo) will be uploaded to KU Athletics’ media FTP after the completion of most meets and other noteworthy events. INJURY INFORMATION The University of Kansas Athletics department will abide by HIPAA - a federal privacy act policy - with regard to the release of injury information.

KU student-athletes will be required to sign a waiver before their injury information is released to the media. If the student-athlete chooses to withhold that information, KU officials will be restricted to informing media members of their status.
