Foundations of the Game Football Camp Our goal is to instill lower and middle school students with a passion for the game of football while teaching them the proper fundamental skills to be successful on the field. The camp gives younger players one-on-one coaching, practice, games, and film review in a real football environment led by CHA Varsity head coach Rick Knox with the assistance of current high school and college football players. Players must have cleats and athletic clothes. Dates:

Director Rick Knox is a 1992 graduate of Chestnut Hill Academy and now is a history teacher, dean of students, and head football coach at his alma mater. Rick played football for earned three Varsity letters, won two outright Ivy League Titles, and was All-Ivy his senior year. Rick started his coaching career at Episcopal Academy, becoming the youngest head coach in the school’s history and leading the Churchmen to their first Inter-Ac title in 23 seasons. Rick’s teams at CHA are a combined 43-14 and in 2009 CHA earned its first Inter-Ac football championship in school history. Twenty-four of his players at CHA have been recruited into the college football ranks. Rick has over two decades of experience working in summer camps.

Larry Hyde Summer Camps Larry Hyde brings back to Chestnut Hill a variety of camps for both children and adults. Our main goal is to make summer camp fun for all ages, backgrounds, and interests. We welcome individual talents and provide an environment that encourages learning and personal growth. Our camps provide an opportunity to participate in your favorite activities, experience new things, develop skills and make new friends. Combining professional leadership, quality programming and creativity ensures the most memorable summer experience.
