ROBIN KRASSE SLASHUS – STIG CLAESSON CENTRE Stig Claesson, a.k.a. Slas, was an author, illustrator and artist. Slashus is a foundation and a meeting place where his work is managed and exhibited. The site is adjacent to Nytorget, a popular square on Södermalm, Stockholm. Furthermore, the site is a natural junction between the new gentrified Södermalm and the old working-class Södermalm that Slas represents. The building facing the entrance to the Slashus, Malongen, is where Slas had his studio and worked for the most part of his life.
