HANS PETTER BJØRNÅDAL

Hans P. Bjørnådal har en master i Arkitektur fra Bergen Arkitektskole (2003) og studier innen sosialantropologi, anvendt landskapsøkologi og filosofihistorie. Bjørnådal utforsker arkitektur gjennom en kunstnerisk og sosialantropologisk tilnærming og skaper sammensatte prosjekter som har relevans for mennesker og menneskers opplevelse av verden i vårt moderne samfunn.

Som arkitekt og kunstner arbeider han prosjektbasert og ofte i samarbeid med studenter eller andre kunstnere gjennom bl.a workshops. Bjørnådal er opptatt av formidling og bærekraft og hvordan en kan fremme kultur, landskap og våre fortellinger på en ny måte i harmoni med naturen.

Bjørnådal driver sitt eget arkitektstudio siden 2007 og har mottatt en rekke utmerkelser for sitt arbeid og var representert i Nordic Pavilion under La Biennale Di Venezia i 2016.

Han er for tiden aktuell med åpningsermonien for Bodø 2024 i samarbeid med Phase7, Nordland Teater, Ada Jurgensen og Ina Otzko og utstillingen Tangformasjoner som er et samarbeid med Kathrine Lindmann.

Hans Petter Bjørnådal Bjørnådal has a Master’s in Architecture from Bergen Arkitekt School (2003) and studies in social anthropology, applied landscape ecology and history of philosophy. Bjørnådal explores architecture through an artistic and social anthropological approach and creates complex projects that have relevance for people and people’s experience of the world in our modern society.

As an architect and artist, he works projectbased and often in collaboration with students and through workshops. Bjørnådal is concerned with communication and sustainability and how to promote culture, landscape and our stories in a new way in harmony with nature.
