Harm Reduction Training There is no nationally recognized training in harm reduction (i.e. you do not have to have a certain qualification to perform harm reduction outreach). However a number of training modules are available through non-profit organisations and statutory groups. The National Treatment Agency - NTA have produced guidelines on this subject. Other nonprofit organisations offer training such as HIT. The National Health Service - NHS also offers a range of training depending on the region. Most training is offered ‘in house’ and is subject to the requirements of the organisation that is delivering the service.
