A document that contains: - A front and back cover - Contents page - At least 1 x 2-page spread (so 2pp, or 4 pages in total when combined with front & back cover) - Internal cross-referencing between the contents page and items within the pages
To showcase a body of work to potential clients. 1 x print PDF design 1 x interactive PDF design Photographs of work with relevant captions such as the title and mediums used. The target audience includes those who are in need of a graphic designer/ illustrator to fit their needs, other designers, or employers who may be looking for this type of work.
And two or more of the following: - Buttons to go to next and prev pages; - An embedded video or image gallery;

The document must include: - A clear grid design - Colour consistency - Page numbers - Typographic consistency - Photographic images
Interactivity
Interactive PDFs need to overcome a number of challenges in order to be used successfully. The aim of my design was to successfully engage with the audience, alert them of the various interactive capabilities and fulfil the purpose of the PDF, which was to showcase a portfolio of work. By organising the work in a hierarchy of information, I was able to achieve a successful flow of the content, navigation and interactivity. The interactive elements include: - Contents page - Previous/next buttons - Slideshow - Video The PDF for print was a lot easier to design in terms of audience interactivity. This is due to the chosen medium as it is restrictive in interactive elements (the only one being to read/look). This meant that a predominant focus was taken to eye tracking.

- All blacks are rich black and colours CMYK (according to printer requirements) - High resolution images - 5-10mm bleed lines - Pages in multiples of four - Final document exported to PDF and sent to print with InDesign Package.
